My father, fiancée, and I went on the Golden Eagle tour over the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon West with Papillon and had a GREAT time! They picked us up from our hotel on the Strip in Las Vegas (they were 30 minutes late, which was really the only bad part), took us to Boulder City, and then we departed from there. The pilot was knowledgeable, friendly, and gave us a very smooth ride to boh the dam and the canyon. So cool from that high up - we got some great pictures, and more importantly, memories. Next time we might do the Vegas Strip tour!

5/31/21 We did the 40 min plane ride over the canyon. It seats 8 folks. We had Captain Jack as our pilot. He was very nice and did a great job of making us feel apart of the family. I would highly recommend this experience. Seeing the canyon from the plane was epic. To top it off we had Cell service the entire time and was able to FaceTime other family members.

This was by far the best way to visit Grand Canyon West Rim !! Safe & highly skilled pilot made my first helicopter flight feel as if that's the only way I want to fly.

I thought this would be a "bucket list" type of experience. Actually we drove an extra 500 miles just to make this flight. Unfortunately I found it very disappointing. Yes, you do spend about 90 minutes in the air, but only about 5-10 minutes is above the Grand Canyon. The rest of this flight is simply the trip from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon, which is basically flying over a barren wasteland. Not only was the flight disappointing, but we waited one hour for ground transportation back to the hotel. I would not recommend this flight. Our trip was made on May 24, 2021.

I would highly recommend the Grand Canyon Sunset Tour. We had an amazing time and our pilot Fred was an excellent host and tour guide!!!
