Amazing experience, but when they say limo service, be ready for a Mercedes van that you share (bump knees) with other riders, that was the only setback.

Signed up to pay extra to sit in the front, got stuck in back seat in the middle. Never again, that kind of money should not involve looking around people, or leaning past them to take a photo.

IF YOU CAN, TAKE THIS TOUR. This was my 4th time to the Grand Canyon, but the first time when I could afford a helicopter tour. I am SO GLAD we did it. The whole experience was awe inspiring and breathtaking. First, I'd like to applaud the team for being responzive and flexible. It's been very rainy in the canyon this year, and our visit on Sunday was no exception. We were scheduled for 2pm, but a monsoon was supposed to roll in around then, so we called and asked if it was possible to take an earlier flight. They got us in at 12pm, right before the weather rolled in, which was great for us and them (it's not safe to fly in bad weather). Second, our pilot was really cool. My father is a small engine pilot, and they had a great time talking about flight hours, and certifications, and what it would look like if my dad took up helicopter flying. I appreciate him answering my dad's questions, while also making sure the rest of us felt safe and were entertained. Third, We got lucky and only our group of 4 was scheduled for the tour at the time, and the chopper balance meant two of our 4 had to sit in the front seat. This meant my dad and niece both got AMAZING views their first time at the canyon - and that no one got grumpy when my partner and I leaned forward over their shoulders to see those same views. Fourth, I loved the music the pilot chose to play, and appreciated that he didn't just rely on the (very informative) recording to tell us what we were looking at, and the history of the area. There were also a lot of bad puns, and dad jokes, and overall just a lot of fun and enthusiasm going around the entire trip. Fifth, maybe it's because we took dramamine before we left, but there was NO airsickness the entire trip. Very grateful for that! Honestly, maybe you only ever do this once in your life, but if you can do it once you should!
