Our Rim to River Tour of the Grand Canyon from our LV hotel to the plane to helicopter to the river boat was an amazing once in a lifetime experience. We got to experience the Grand Canyon as if we were embedded in an action movie. The company runs its tours better than a precision clock with the only pause being a short wait for the "Twin Otter" (air work-horse with high wings) that ferries folks back and forth to Boulder City. The plane ride was an incredibly scenic trip over the Mohave desert with views of mountains, the hoover dam, and provided some first views as we approached the Grand Canyon. The helicopter (Euro-copter) swept us down to the canyon floor in an exciting ten minute flight which was an incredibly immersive experience. We walked a few flights of stairs down to the dock and got to enjoy the views from the water. After the tour, we had enough time to hike near the canyon rim followed by the flight back. If we revisit LV we will take the longer Hummer tour. I cannot speak more highly of this professional company and our experience which was just incredible.

Not really a mind blowing experience, AVOID AFTERNOON flights! Just ok, is a slightly different view of the same thing, not getting close to canyons or anything, just flying over it, pretty much like any high viewpoint in the Park... very repetitive scenery... so you're not missing much. The worst part, the sun at 5pm is blocking all the views so more than half of trip -if you're seated on the left behind the pilot- you won't be able to see much, or take any pictures at all... They had pre-recorded explanatory audios that felt very impersonal. And also, I'm surprised they don't advise people to wear dark/black clothes to minimize the reflections, one of the other travelers had a bright orange jacket, so it was visible in most of my pictures, quite annoying to find the right angles. I recently did the Kaua'i flight in Hawaii and it's million times better, and way cheaper! If you're debating, don't do this one... it's very disappointing.
