Taking a helicopter is a fantastic way to see so much of the canyon and provides the best views of the Colorado River within the canyon. The only thing that could have been a bit better is if the pilots told us more about the area and what we were seeing during the flight.

The helicopter tour is definitely a must. We had amazing time, our pilot Evan was great. Overall we had a great experience. Everyone at the Papillion was friendly and helpful. But, I do have to make you aware that Papillion helicopters aren't in Las Vegas. They are located in Boulder City which is about 35 mins from Las Vegas. Definitely a long drive so you are better off getting the transportation option from them.

We booked the helicopter tour and have been looking forward to it for weeks. The check-in process was fabulous and Miguel are pilot was very knowledgeable and friendly. The whole experience was let down by the logistics of getting to and from the airport and around the park for the self tour elements. Each and everyone of our bus drivers behaved as if we were an inconvenience or that we should be in a different place at a different time. We spent an awful lot of time waiting around. We were told that we had to be on the bus at 3pm for a 3.30 flight home and while the airport staff were very apologetic when we arrived the flight was 30 minutes late. The crew and staff at the other end did not seem to be expecting us and we were then asked to wait around for a further hour while we waited for other passengers. In fact we got on one bus which drove out of the airport, completed a u turn and dropped us off and told us to wait again. Given the investment that we had made, I would’ve expected that the logistics be far more organised. I am sure that the attitude and behaviour of the bus drivers was in response to the frustration being messed around too. It’s a shame because it’s like a bitter taste in our mouth from a fabulous day.

Es war ein fantastisch. Der Flug über den Canyon mit deutschem Audio-Guide war phänomenal. Die Hummer-Tour zum sundowner war dann der krönende Abschluss. 👍👍
