I’m 6’-7” tall and they seated me in the helicopter facing backwards with my neck bent at the ceiling. I had a great view of my knees, but could barely see out if i bent down from me head rubbing on the ceiling and turned my neck sideways. We were instructed to sit where we were told. I couldn’t talk to the little guy who pointed to my seat due the helicopter noise. I knew I was in for a painful and horrible experience, which unfortunately came true.

The flying experience was amazing and left me speechless with the views. However, since I paid so much to get this experience and drove about 4 hours I should get to take a picture and get the full experience of a helicopter ride. The ground support is extremely rude and will not allow you to even look at the helicopter, which I thought was unfair because if they have a business in the survive industry they should be polite to the customers. Since they were so rude and impolite before we even got in the helicopter, it set a bad mood and left us unsatisfied with the experience. The pilot was really sweet and let us know when to be ready to take pictures of the canyon. It would have been an extra ordinary experience but small things like this can really change the full experience.

A Complete Fraud – Very Disappointing We booked the most expensive full package in advance and even traveled from Peru for this dream trip. Instead, Papillon made us wait 40 minutes to board the helicopter down to the canyon and another 40 minutes to board back. Because of this delay, we lost the entire tour inside the canyon and couldn’t do the Skywalk — which we had paid extra for. When we asked for a solution, the supervisor dismissed us, saying it wasn’t their problem and that we should just ask for a refund. The treatment was indifferent, unhelpful, and without any apology. A refund does not fix the fact that our dream became a nightmare. Papillon Tours showed us the worst customer service we have ever experienced. Reservation 3407728 August 20, 2025

Badly organised tour, wait times for the helicopter exceeding 30-40 min between each stop. We ran out of time and could only do 2 out of the 4 stops. The staff are not helpful at all and they all give you different/wrong information. Would not recommended to anyone. Horrible experience and charge a premium price…

Disappointed a child on his birthday
We went with our son for his birthday. They asked us if we wanted to upgrade to the front seat and we said yes for our son. Our son was happy and excited to get to ride in the front seat. Then when we get to the helicopter to board on the tarmac, and they gave the front seat to someone else, and adult at that. Very disappointed boy on his birthday. Dampened the whole mood and really ruined the experience. Sad bunch of people.
