I was originally skeptical about if i wanted to do this, but really glad i did. Thanks to Duncan for taking us around the West Rim and the jokes we warned us about! I have to say, being the first time in a helicopter I didn't realise it was like sitting on an angry lawnmower but that's the nature of rotary wing! Duncan took us over many other places such as the Hoover Dam, Joker's Hill and so on. Don't worry if you don't score the front seat: visibility anywhere in the chopper is great - and in fact if you are in a back seat (which I was), I still had not only a 180 degree view, but there are windows in the roof that you can't see from in the front seats! Glad I did it! ... and yeah, the playing of "Danger Zone" as we were zipping through the Grand Canyon ... nice touch, Duncan... :)

What an absolute nightmare. When we booked our Papillon Helicopter Tour in Las Vegas, we were told it would be a 4-hour round trip, including transportation back to our hotel. Sounds reasonable, right? Wrong. After the tour, we were dropped off at the airport and told it would be “just 15 minutes” before the bus took us back. That “15 minutes” turned into over 90 minutes of waiting with zero communication and a shockingly rude driver. We were eventually told that one of the planes “lost” two people, so ten of us had to just sit there indefinitely — as if our time meant nothing. When another passenger asked for an update, the driver actually snapped, “You can take an Uber if you don’t want to wait.” Excuse me? If you had told us from the start it would be over an hour, I absolutely would have taken an Uber and saved my night — not to mention the expensive plans I had to miss because of this circus. To make it worse, every few minutes we were told, “They’ll be here in 10 minutes.” Over and over — a blatant lie. The airport obviously knows where its planes are; this was just lazy mismanagement and a total lack of respect for paying customers. Papillon might deliver a decent view from the air, but once you land, the experience crashes and burns. If you value your time, honesty, or basic professionalism — book with literally anyone else.

It favours the left side of the helicopter, but not the right side so if you are sitting on the right side of the helicopter, you would not get a really good view of the Las Vegas strip.

I'm OFF to see the Wizard!
This was a cool remake of a classic I saw when I was a child. It was in color and I loved the 4-D effects. All of the seats in the Sphere are great and I love watching films on the screen in the Sphere. This was my second time visiting the Sphere and it never disappoints.
