We traveled by bus from the Bellagio Underground Tour Front Desk to the suburban airport, then transferred to a twin-engine Cessna for the 45-minute flight to the Grand Canyon. Along the way, we could see Hoover Dam and the Colorado River from above. After arriving at the site, we transferred to a helicopter and descended to the mouth of the canyon, where we enjoyed a 20-minute riverboat ride. This was my third time at the Grand Canyon, but it was my first time descending all the way to the mouth, so it was an incredibly valuable experience. The staff and pilot were also very kind and helpful. It cost about $1,800 for three people, but I think it was a totally reasonable price for the experience. Very good flight out in the " old clunker ". Very good vis from all seats and Torie added to the fun with a well thought out sound track. Do ask for a discount if Forces or likewise as prices are negotiable

Just a warning… there was no box lunch provided as stated on the website and reservation confirmation email. No food available at all while out on the tour. It would have been nice to know. Also, there was no bathroom access anywhere between hours of 11AM and 2:30 PM on our tour today. The hummer never stopped at any buildings with a restroom. Usually a tour will stop at a gift shop or visitor center to give everyone a break. Again, would have been good to have this info in advance. Lastly, the headset audio tour cut out often that it could not be understood.
