Amazing
This is your childhood on steroids. I had no understanding of how the sphere worked and almost didn’t book. The experience was soooo amazing. I am not going to do a spoiler alert, but it is a must do. It was the best adventure that we did in Vegas.

The crew at Papillion is the greatest! We made a major oversight when flying into Vegas and planning to drive to the west rim when we did not plan for the time change. We were well out of the rescheduling time frame but amazingly they accomodated us even though we showed up an hour late. What a kind gesture! This company really cares about the customer.

Great experience with...
Great experience with spectacular view of the Canyon. The ride really shows how large the Canyon really is, plus learnt about from the onboard commentary. Great customer service (being from Australia we weren't aware of the time difference between Las Vegas and Arizona), and the team were able to put us onto a later flight. Would strongly recommend

I booked the night flight over The Strip to take some photos. Pro tip: bring your fastest lens and make sure you're shutter speed is at 1/500 or greater and just bite the bullet on the ISO. It's VERY shaky, and if your shutter speed isn't high enough then your photos will be ruined. And the lights are actually really bright, so you don't have to go much higher than ISO 3200. They charge extra for sitting in the front seat but it's worth it if you're there to get photos. The flight itself was wonderful! They take safety seriously and show you a detailed safety video, and the pilot gives clear instructions and is helpful. They offer a photo for sale at the end of the tour and it includes a digital copy. But HONESTLY! A Lumix and a kit lens? Come on! You're charging professional prices! Get a used 5D Mark III and a Sigma prime lens! At least TALK to a photographer if you're going to offer photo products! The prices are reasonable for what you're getting and the service is great! Definitely worth the money!

Short, sweet, recommended
This review is for Papillon's short but sweet 10-15 minute ride over the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown Las Vegas/Fremont Street. The Papillon terminal looked rather new or newly redone. There is a roomy indoor waiting area with a variety of seating, including stools with power outlets. The restroom was pretty large and clean, better than the one at the JSX (the semi-private airline) terminal. There is also seating in an outdoor patio with views of the helicopter launch area. Since I booked the earliest of these short tours, the terminal was quiet and check-in was seamless and kind. Every passenger is weighed at check-in to balance the weight on the helicopter. You have the option of requesting a front row seat ($30); you are charged if and when you are upgraded. I unfortunately did not make the cut, but I ended up being very satisfied with my rear window seat behind the pilot. Our copter had 2 seats in front, 4 in the rear. Some of the other copters have 3 front/4 rear seats: I think these are the ones that go to the Grand Canyon. We watched a safety video in the terminal, then boarded a shuttle for the brief ride to the helicopter. A photographer and the pilot accompanied us. Your photo is taken outside the copter before boarding. The seats have noise-cancelling headphones you can wear; they have music playing. The ride was smooth and quick. You basically go north on the east side of the Strip, make a U-turn just north of Downtown, then head south on the west side of the Strip. You can see every hotel on the Strip and Downtown, plus The Sphere, the High Roller Ferris wheel, T-Mobile Arena and Allegiant Stadium. Back at the terminal, your photo and a flight certificate are available for purchase. I did give the pilot a gratuity, others on my flight (all were non-American) did not. The company offers a myriad of tours--Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and more. Some of the Strip tours have added perks like a meal or foodie tour; the basic tour I took can include transportation to and from your hotel if you choose. Recommended.

Just an awesome experience from start to finish. Everything was very organized, from pickup at our hotel, to the flight, to little snack picnic, to drop-off back at our hotel. Obviously the flight and views from above were the highlight. Something we will never forget! Shout out to Rafael our pilot and tour guide. He was funny, knowledgeable, gracious, oh and a skilled pilot. :) Highly recommend to anyone visiting Vegas!!! Minor quibble is the short duration on the canyon floor and the "snacks" were pretty generic, but it's obviously not about the food.
