Escape from Strasbourg
If you are staying in Strasbourg this is a great way to experience the countryside as well as learn about Alsatian wines. We did 5 wines at two places so there were plenty of choices. We also learned a lot about the German and French flip-flop control of the area.

Very interesting tour of St Emilion and Pomerol with our very knowledgeable guide, Oscar. He was very informative and able to answer our questions without hesitation. The vineyards we visited were all very welcoming and overall a thoroughly enjoyable day, with a good amount of time at our leisure in St Emilion for lunch.

A good variety of chateau are visited, the transport was very comfortable and Mathiu is a great guide.

Found it informative, convenient and relaxing tour from Toulouse to Carcassone. Trip was quick but we were able to tour the entire walled city.

The tour was fantastic to get a feel for the area and series of events that occurred on June 5,6,7 1944. We only had time for an afternoon experience but if you have more time I highly recommend taking a full day to see these incredible places. Thank you!

The guide didn't show up
Didn't have a chance to have an excursion. When I came to the meeting point, there was noone. Then I found a message at 8.55 that the guide was late. Then for an hour noone could tell us when the guide was going to come. Then the excursion was cancelled

Interessante tour, met een goede gids die honderduit vertelde en de invasie meer een gezicht gaf. Het vervoer was goed. Op de plekken zelf hadden we niet heel veel tijd om bijvoorbeeld het bezoekerscentrum nog even te bekijken.

A lot of time in the car,...
A lot of time in the car, but our guide Mirela made it pleasant by always having insights on the region and the wine industry as a whole. She knew everything about wine! The stops were mainly to larger, corporate owned chateaux, and the guides there were hit or miss. I wish the visits were to more small scale operations, but the wine was good and the day was enjoyable.

Very pretty but too many visitors
The centre of Colmar is very photogenic and has some nice places to eat and to taste wines. But the sheer volume of visitors detracts badly from the aesthetic pleasure of the architecture and the Riverside walks. Probably best out of the height of the visitor season.

Burgundy Wine Tour
Tour guide had extensive knowledge of the region and wines. He provided a wealth of information and was very interesting. I learned a lot about Burgundy and its wines.
