The tour guide looked unprepared, talked very lowly and not very knowledgeable. We were expecting a lot more of information about the wine industry in the region, complemented with some historical references and more useful information about the harvest and wine culture. God tur, lidt kort tid til at nå det hele

God tur men man kunne godt have brugt lidt mere tid under selv vinsmagningen. Det blev lidt forhastet. Vores guide var super flink og god til at fortælle hele vejen igennem. En smule kort tid til at se byen: sankt Emilion, men det er en meget flot by, så helt sikkert turen værd.

Left Bank Wine Tour

The wine tour was fine. The guide Stan was awesome. I was in a group with experience left bank wine lovers. This was a tour for likely those who are very new to Bordeaux wines. Many of the wines that were served were more Merlot driven and I was expecting heavy Cabernet driven wines. We did have lunch in Paulliac, however no vineyard stopping so order your Paulliac wine here. Overall it’s a good tour just not for one who are in love with left bank wines.

Loved it!

I'll start by saying that we typically opt for exploring on our own rather than joining tours... And we are so glad we signed up for this! Thierry was an amazing guide- so friendly and also incredibly knowlegable about wines, the history of the area, and where to stop for some very scenic views. The wineries he brought us to had a variety of delicious wines. We feel that if we had planned a 3-winery day on our own, it would not have been nearly as good as this tour. Thierry even provided a recommendation for a winery that was walkable from our hotel to visit on another day. It was also fun to meet the other people on our tour who were from other parts of the world. We highly recommend this tour with Thierry. Don't miss it!

Amazing visit!

We booked the half day tour from Colmar and it was an amazing excursion! We went to two winemakers and got to visit the stunning town of Riquewihr. Our guide Myriam was incredibly knowledgeable and personable, we had a fantastic experience! Myriam had lots of information for our many questions and was very passionate about wine and the region! The range of wine we tried was amazing, fantastic value for money!

Our group had the unfortunate situation where the tour guide was sick and the tour was replaced with a driver-only experience. While the driver was very lovely and followed the itinerary as planned, the absence of a proper guide was sorely felt and significantly impacted our overall experience. We were visiting historical castles, charming towns and a renowned winery region — all places rich with culture, stories and context. Unfortunately with no additional information provided along the way, we were left without any historical background or cultural insights that would have added depth and meaning to what we were seeing. It felt more like a transportation service than a guided tour which is not what we had paid for or expected. Had we known in advance that the guide would be unavailable, we might have chosen to reschedule or make other arrangements. It was a real missed opportunity and sadly, the lack of information left us with more questions than memories.

It was all good but the guide did not take us to the best winery , she was more concerned about maintaining her buddies network than her tour client

Fantastic half day tour of Saint Emilion & Winery visit

This is a fantastic tour and a great way to spend 4 hours in the area. Our tour guide, Mathius was great - very knowledgeable and good fun. We had a small group of 8 people, of mixed nationalities. St Emilion town is beautiful and the winery visit was perfect. Easy pick up and drop off and nice air-conditioned, comfortable transport. I highly recommend this tour.

Majestic trip through the Alsace villages

Jerome was a wealth of information about the history and culture of the Alsace region. He was kind and polite. We had a great afternoon with him visiting the magical wine villages of Alsace.

This shuttle trip was very good! Maggie our driver was fantastic and patient with us. It is well worth the money as you also get an abbey ticket. You get plenty of time on the island. My only qualm was it was SO packed in August, even on a Tuesday. Maggie did warn us that Mont St Michel is especially busy in August. We were able to get Abbey access quickly with the provided ticket, and inside the Abbey was not too crowded in the morning. However, the medieval street and around the island was so packed you could hardly move. We really just explored the Abbey and then explored the beach. It was fun to walk in the surrounding sand and explore the castle from the exterior. The view is just stunning as well. If you visit in summer, I’d advise to wear comfortable walking sandals so that you can enjoy the beaches. :) If you bring shoes as we did, bring Kleenex or wipes, and a water bottle, so you can rinse and dry your feet before putting your shoes back on. Also, bring coins!
