Perfect tour for Saint-Emilion and to explore some local wineries

We had a great experience - we are normally not fans of organized group tours, but this was one I would recommend. We had a small group of six (including my husband and I) - fortunately, it was a good group. Nice air conditioned vehicle (given it was very hot out). Our host Hugo was super knowledgeable, fun and engaging. We explored three great wineries and had enough time in the village of Saint-Emilion to explore on our own, which is what we wanted.

Well worth the expense

We had an enjoyable afternoon with Victor. He was well informed, pleasant and accommodating. The small group experience was worth it and our appreciation for the efforts to bring freedom to Europe were magnified!

A great half day!

This was the perfect half day! I booked last minute as a solo traveler. Our guide Francesco was incredibly accommodating, funny, and kind. The 3 villages we went to were all great, and we had the perfect amount of time to wander by ourselves. Highly recommend!

A Terrific Half-Day Tour

This was a very fun and informative tour. Our guide Mathis was a terrific host and he not only taught us a lot about the region of Bordeaux but also about wine making. We stopped at the beautiful Châteaux Bellevue and tasted 4 excellent wines. Afterward, we got to enjoy some free time in the center of Saint Emillion which is as charming as you could imagine. If you’d like get a taste of winemaking in Bordeaux without a huge time commitment, this is a great tour. Well worth the price.

Great winery visits and our tour guide Thierry was super knowledgeable about the local grapes, winemaking etc in the Alsace region. He also spoke excellent English.

The tour was really fantastic. We visited 2 family wineries which were very different from each other which enhanced the experience. Alex was very knowledgeable not only about the wine but the history of the area. We had a small intimate group which made it more enjoyable. The wine was great and the owner at the 2nd winery personally showcased his wine.

Enjoyed the small group tour of Alsatian villages with Léa. Usually the tour can accommodate up to 8, but only my husband and I had signed on for the day. Our guide was amazing: friendly, informative and helpful- setting a pace that was comfortable for us. This was worth every cent.

Excellent private tour of the Alsatian villages outside of Strasbourg - Rosheim, Obernai, Barr, Andlau & Mittelbergheim. Our guide and driver, Jerome provided just the right amount of info of each place. He is experienced, knowledgeable, considerate and polite. The pace was just right for a 8 hour tour for us. Jerome included an extra stop when we finished the tour of 4 villages early. Noor at the OPHORUS office also coordinated our bookings well. I would recommend them if you are planning a private tour of the villages in Alsace outside of Strasbourg.
