An informative and respectful tour of the D-Day landings

Pascal was an absolute treasure as he took us around the battlefields (beaches) and the Memorial Cemetery. He immersef us in the battles, explaining the 'waves' of troops hitting the beaches, their fear, their confusion, their suffering. It was a true account of what they experienced on those awful days. He was also very engaging, asking the group questions, which kept us interested. He also has a lovely sense of humour which I, particularly enjoyed 😀 He was most informative and respectful and, as someone who loves history, I left feeling that I had learned everything I wanted to know. Thank you, Pascal, for an informative and respectful tour and recognition of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our Freedom.

Alsace wine tastings

Oliver was a friendly drive/guide. While it is lovely to visit wineries in their villages, it involves a reasonable amount of driving. Of the two wineries we visited, the second was far more interesting and with a more engaging host.

Half-day (4-hr) tour. Pascal was passionate and informative. Would have liked more time to roam at Pont du Hoc - a long-winded explanation of life in a German bunker left literally 5 minutes to walk around. If you intend to visit a specific grave at the (beautiful) cemetery, try to know its specific location beforehand, as you’ll have limited time.

Excellent tour and highly recommend! It was a perfect tour, just the right size and saw enough to want to come back for an expanded tour in the future. The ride out from Bayeux was in a nice van, and the tour guide gave a solid overview during the drive to & fro. I particularly enjoyed the tour guide having a laminated spiral bound book to show historical photos to help the group visualize her storytelling. We got to the American Cemetery just in time before 4PM to see the flag ceremony and heard TAPS. Extremely moving. Book this tour - you will be very happy!

The tour guide was very kind and it was a great trip to the Loire Valley. Before joining the tour, I had some questions and contacted the tour operator via chat and email, but unfortunately I didn't receive a reply.

Our tour guide Adam was superb, thorough, and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed seeing the villages with an insight in the rich history of the area and touring the archeological cites.

The tour was great! Our guide, Amelie, was very knowledgeable and added so much to the experience (including making the drive enjoyable). The only complaint, as such, would be that the Get Tour Guide app pointed us to the wrong meeting point, causing us to nearly miss the tour. Fortunately, we did not and managed to find our group before it was too late.

Great tour to St Emilion with visit to a chateau and a wine tasting

Our guide, Anne, was terrific. She began our tour with an overview of the history of Bordeaux and wine making in the region. She took us to a wonderful little château for a wine tasting, where we met one of the members of the family. Her knowledge of wine was truly astounding. During our tasting, she put it out aspects to the wine that we would ordinarily never have noticed. We then spent time in St Emilion, which was truly charming. At last glass of wine at one of the local café/wine bars was most memorable. We would highly recommend this tour.

Lovely trip through the wine country.

Valentine was such a joy. He was so knowledgeable about the wine and the region. The tasting experience was wonderful, with three stops. It was nice seeing the country. We were back in Dijon by 5pm. Highly recommend.
