We had a wonderful day in the Medoc with Rodolphe from Orphorus. Our tour had just 6 people. We generally arrange our own wine visits but were so happy and lucky to spend thee day with the very informed and entertaining Rodolphe. We learned so much and truly enjoyed the vintners we met who each had their own, philosophy and market niche. I would heartily recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed our day trip to Medoc thanks to our brilliant guide Anne. She was incredibly warm and friendly, very eggar to share her knowledge of the area, Bordeaux and her journey that lead to where she is now. Before each Chateaux she gave us a thorough explanation of the history and types of wine we could expect to find and we enjoyed them very much and feel the chateaux’s were well thought out. If we could give more than 5 stars we would!!

Really good taster of the Dordogne. Excellent boat trip included. Another 30 minutes would have been great to be less rushed exploring the villages but guess that would impact lunch for some. Otherwise, well structured and Benoit, our guide, gave us the key information and ensured we saw the highlights. Definitely a good choice for a half day.

The villages were amazing as were the views. It was a bit hard to enjoy the boat cruise with her English translations vs the live guide. Would have liked to have had more time to tour the last village’s shops a bit. Benoit was very good and we really enjoyed him.

We did the half day wine tour from Strasbourg. Jerome was our driver & guide. With a sommelier accreditation, he offered an in-depth knowledge of the Alsace wine industry. We were a small group of 8, which makes it easy to get to know people. We visited 2 family-run wineries. The 1st winery gave us 4 tastings of both white & red (pinot noir). The server was very nice & informative. We liked them all to varying degrees. The 2nd winery was in a farm compound. It dated from the 1700s. We were given a tour of the cellars, followed by 5 tastings. These were even better. The owner, himself, served us out in the courtyard. It was a lovely atmosphere. It was a great way to see the countryside, meet other tourists, & gain knowledge of the local wine industry. Thanks Jerome for making our tour a memorable one.

I took the Small Group Full Day D-Day Tour of the US sector from Bayeux with Ophorus Tours guided by Victor. It was an excellent experience and Vic did an amazing job! My father was a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne and dropped in to Normandy on D-Day. Near Utah Beach there is a Fisherman’s house that the Nazis modified for their headquarters that now is a coffee & souvenir shop where they allow family members to write a brief message on the wall. Vic made sure I was able to write a message in honor of Dad. Truly touched me and I’ll be forever grateful. Jim

A lovely way to spend the afternoon in this beautiful part France.
Our guide was Ugo and he absolutely made our afternoon. He was welcoming, knowledgeable, engaging and passionate about his subject. The tour itself was very well organised, our mini van was comfortable and clean. The time at the chateau was so interesting and informative, Ugo answered all of our questions.

Pascal was very informative and an excellent guide. We visited all major sites and learned a lot about the amazing history in this region. Was very nice to end the day at the flag ceremony at the American cemetery. Highly recommend.

We took a tour to the Luberon Villages with Alex and it was a wonderful small group experience. The tour gave us just enough time at some of the most beautiful villages and Alex gave us many local recommendations and stories which made our tour even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend!
