Excellent tour of the Alcation wine country with Thierry. I cannot say enough good things about our guide! Thierry was knowledgeable, charming and humorous. He gave us a great morning in an area he obviously loves. Highly recommend the tour and our guide Thierry.

We took the Strasbourg to Colmar, Riquewihr & Haut-Koenigsbourg tour on August 5th, and it was fantastic! Our tour guide, Lea, was outstanding. She was an excellent driver and such a knowledgeable and friendly host. She shared so much interesting history and great stories at each stop, which really brought the places we visited to life. The charming villages in the Alsace region were absolutely beautiful, and Lea also gave us some wonderful recommendations for local food and wine. The tour was in a small minibus, which I much prefer over a large bus tour. It made the experience feel much more personal—almost like having a private tour. We absolutely loved this tour and would highly recommend it, especially with Lea as your guide. Ophorus was excellent with communication, and the meeting point directions were clear and easy to follow. She made the day so enjoyable and memorable. It was definitely worth it!

Carlos was our tour guide and was excellent! Knowledgeable and helpful and timely! One of the best guides we have had in many years of participating in tours. The tour itself out of Strasbourg was excellent. Carlos added a few quick extra stops for photo ops! He is also great at taking pictures! Well worth going on a small group tour! Matt was amazing. He is a wonderful storyteller and gave us background on the Germans French and Americans. The tour was well researched and he painted a descriptive picture of what happened during DDay. He even volunteered to help us determine if our father was here during the invasion. I highly recommend this tour.

Small Group Wine Tasting

Our guide was very thorough with the history of wine making in Aix, and during the drive to the first vineyard, we received a lot of information. His driving was good and we had asked that he not drive fast, and he willingly obliged us. There were two couples in the group, so almost like a private tour. We visited two vineyards and sampled 6 wines at each. The region is known mostly for the Rose wine, but we did sample some white and red wines.

Half-Day Normandy Tour

We went on a half-day tour of Normandy beaches and the US cemetery. We started on time at 9 AM and finished on schedule at 1 PM. Our guide, Theo, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and understanding, spoke perfect English and was very understanding of our lack of French language skills. I highly recommend this tour and I hope that you get Theo as your guide.
