The guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about everything but maybe didn’t read the room enough that it was way over all of our heads. Just maybe too much detail in the information and not enough free time to wander.

Pascal was amazing! His knowledge and story telling was an absolute highlight of the tour. I can understand why you could do a full day D-day tour, but we still managed to see everything with enough time to browse independently. It was a great tour, would absolutely recommend!

Perdimos nuestra cita con el tour debido a que no pudimos volar a Francia por motivos de meteorología adversa.Debido al avisó tardío de la aerolínea no pudimos cancelar con tiempo y recibir reembolso.Entendemos esto, pero cuando se trata por estos motivos la aplicación getyourguide debería cuanto menos sugerir un reembolso total/parcial o darnos un vale para realizar el tour en una fecha posterior.El motivo de cancelación escapaba de nuestra voluntad. De hecho, viajábamos a Francia específicamente para este tour. Para más enfado, aún avisando nosotros a getyourguide el día anterior al tour, no avisasteis a la oficina de turismo en Tours (Francia) de que no iríamos y nos estuvieron esperando, llegando incluso a llamar a España para preguntar por nuestra ausencia. Muy mal todo sinceramente.

A lot of walking but history is so fascinating

Les Baux is truly a step back in time. Saint-Remy is charming, and Arles is a history lesson that is very wonderful. Alex, once again, was a fabulous guide with an incredible knowledge of every place we visited.

Fantastic Tour!

This was a really fantastic tour. Our guide, Adam, was so passionate and knowledgeable about both the wines and the region. He also conveyed the history of the region going back over a thousand years to the beginning of the winemaking industry there. We got to taste around 15 different wines (reds, whites and sparkling) at three different wineries. We are not at all wine aficionados but we really enjoyed the whole day and would highly recommend this to anyone, whether they have a lot of experience with wine or are just getting started on their wine journey.

Fun and educational tour

Pascal was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide with a good sense of humor and friendly demeanor. He covered a lot of facts and history but in a manner that was engaging and relatable. I would definitely recommend him.

Great way to see two...

Great way to see two castles with chauffeur/guide who explained everything and then your own time to wander and lunch in between. Highly recommend as only small group.

Our guide was experienced and seemed to enjoy informing our group about the history of American sites in Normandy; very knowledgeable and friendly. I wish we had more time at the cemetery; it was emotional walking around the headstones and reading the names from so many different states. We did miss the gift shop experience which we would have financially supported.

Perfect D-Day history exposure

Pascal was amazingly knowledgeable and made our experience very memorable. The 4 hour session was just enough to learn a good bit and see the major sites without committing a full day. 10/10!

Caves: simply impressive

The country roads from Sarlat to Lascaux were so beautiful with the woods still green but with patches of the foliage of red and yellow leaves. So the distance seemed much shorter than it really was. The caves, although replicated, were simply impressive and our guide was knowledgeable and full of humour. There was a crowd, thanks to the school holidays, but it was not intimidating because the touring groups were well managed. The gift shop was a bonus at the end.

Fun and informative afternoon.

Very informative tour of the Bordeaux Right Bank vineyards and the town of St. Emilion. Carol provided a lot of great information about the vineyards, town, and the rules, processes and implementation of the wine rating system. We tasted 4 wines, and got to compare vintages and methods.

Benoit was an excellent tour guide. The boat company unexpectedly cancelled our ride and he improvised beautifully as well as finding ways to accommodate one of our companions who had mobility issues. He was knowledgeable and personable. We were very impressed.

We had the most amazing day out with Valentine! We learned so much about the region from his warm and chatty style and the wines we tasted were superb. A really lovely day out in Burgundy and with a great group, a lovely lunch break in Beaune and so many lovely places to stop and take photos!
