Our guide Matt was a true gem of a host! His knowledge of the region and the Allies landing on the beaches of Normandy is exceptional. Matt gave perspectives from all sides of World War II which really brought to life the effects of war not just on the soldiers, but on the locals as well! He even wowed my husband who is an avid WWII buff! Such a great experience made even more incredible with Matt. Cheers, Matt you’re a real treasure!!

My husband and I took the Orpheus tour with Victor as our guide. He shared so much knowledge and information that we never would have known on our own. We found the tour highly impactful and very sobering especially at the American cemetery. Victor is clearly passionate about the sharing his knowledge on the WWll topic. We highly recommend him without reservation.

A terrific trip which was very well curated by Stan, our guide. With only 8 people it was personal but with the opportunity to be on our own in St Emillion. Stan was relaxed, knowledgeable and fun. He imparted his expertise well and without bombarding everyone with facts. He got the wine tasting just right. Would thoroughly recommend this half day.

We had a great half day wine tasting tour experience. We visited 2 wineries and tried a bunch of different wine options. Our guide, Carlos, was very nice and friendly and explained a lot about the history of the region. We would definitely recommend this tour to other travelers. Liebe Grüße aus München 😊

Our guide Guy was very knowledgeable and had a welcoming personality. We’d definitely take another tour with him. He showed us around multiple sites in the area between stops on the wine tour and had several ideas for things to do along our tour and several suggestions for things to do in Bordeaux when we got back. All of the wineries were top notch and their staffs were great. We especially enjoyed the second stop on our tour where they let us taste two of the varieties of grapes used to make the wines (Merlot and Cabernet). We also enjoyed exploring the art collections at a few of the vineyards and learning about their history and wine making processes. The only thing that could have been better was a little more time at the last winery. That was towards the end of the day and felt a little more rushed then the first two. Overall great tour. Thanks again Guy.

Fabulous wine tour

A fabulous half day wine tour to Château Bellevue in Saint-Emillion. My wife and I were very fortunate to have the tour to ourselves, with our guide Maude. She was so knowledgeable about the region, the family running the estate and the wine we got to sample. She even spent time suggesting dinner/lunch spots in Bordeaux. Stopped in the village of Saint-Emillion and had 45mins to walk around and have a coffee. In all, a great morning.

A day in Cassis is a day well spent.

Cassis is a delightful little tourist town. While it might be a little crowded onshore the inclusion of a boat ride to the Calangues did give some relief. We had no difficulty finding a delightful restaurant for lunch either. Our quide, Morgana was happy to mention interesting points on the drive to Cassis and was kind enough to allow me,at least, to sleep on the way back. The wine tasting and the drive to the Falaise de Cassis with the exceptional view, added to the experience.

UNBELIEVABLE DAY! So fantastic. We ended up not having the other half of our party show up, so it was just us and our guide and it was so personable and fantastic. At the end of our 10 day trip we wnet around and said our favorite day, and we ALL said this day! I could not reccomend this tour more!!

We had an excellent experience on this tour, highly recommend. For a one day tour it did a great job of showing us the highlights of the beautiful villages in this region. We loved all four stops - each was unique and interesting, and felt long enough to have a quick look around. We had a fabulous tour guide, Laurent, who found the perfect balance of sharing interesting information without overloading it. Bonus thanks for him for excellent restaurant recommendations.

We enjoyed our half-day tour with Myriam so much! Great conversation and her knowledge of the wines in Alsace is incredible. There were only 5 people on our tour, Liz and Iain from England, Kieran from Australia, and the 2 of us from the States. We were also happy to visit Eguisheim and see the storks! So much fun! Would highly recommend this company and, if you're really lucky, you'll have Myriam as your guide! Thank you so much for a wonderful day!
