A walk in the history

Fairy small village. Loved the small old village with old sty arcitecture. Looks amazing and food is great. Taking a walk along side the harbor and the village will give you an amazing feeling.

Cave art and charming views of the region

Outstanding! Our guide was knowledgeable and gave excellent commentary along the way. We stopped at several charming villages, which was a bonus. The caves. Wow!

Alain even planned well the weather so we could be outside 🙂 Alain’s knowledge of the region and of the Alsace wine business was expert. He took us to three wineries that were all very different so we could experience the variety of wines and wineries. We made several stops in villages and also at viewpoints so we could take in the great beauty of this region. Thank you very much for a tremendous day!

Amazing day out

Booked through Viator went with a company called Ophorus with tour guide Roxanne who spoke perfect English, amazing guide with so much knowledge and enthusiasm. This tour is a must when in Strasbourg, at first I thought it was a little expensive but you get to visit wonderful towns with beautiful streets and spectacular charm that you couldn’t do or get to see other wise, and having a tour guide like Roxanne it was such a wonderful day out. Absolutely money, time and effort well spent, fab day out.

No real complaint about the transportation or the guide (in fact the guide was very informative). The complaint is the crowds and noise which makes it difficult to hear and understand the guide as well as visit the site.

We had a fantastic tour with Morgan yesterday and our small tour group of 6 people; couldn’t have asked for a better guide and group of people to share the day with! Morgan made the journey engaging and enjoyable with her fun facts and great sense of humour. She was responsive to the group’s interests, taking us to Marseille before heading to the beautiful coastal town of Cassis. The short boat tour in Cassis was a highlight with great views and the fish in the lovely turquoise water. We thoroughly enjoyed the free time around lunch which we spent having lunch and hanging out at the beach. We finished the day with an outstanding view from the top and alovely wine tasting. Throughout the trip, Morgan’s driving was smooth and confident, and she made everyone feel safe and relaxed. Her knowledge, friendliness, and thoughtful planning really made the day special. Highly recommend touring with Morgan, she is awesome.

We were met at our pick up location on time by a very friendly guide that reviewed our itinerary with the group prior to departure. The group of eight fit comfortably in the spacious van. In between destinations our guide pointed out important aspects and history of the areas we were driving through. At each village stop she walked with us pointing out things of interest including the best photo locations. In addition we had periods of individual time to walk around the villages. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

This was an exceptional tour, due in large part to our guide, Ugo who was the best guide we had the whole trip, and truly could not have been better. He was so friendly and knowledgeable, he answered all our questions and weaved together the different winery visits into a fun and fascinating cohesive day.
