Fun & fabulous!!

What a fabulous afternoon! Helene our tour guide was amazing…she was super informative, enthusiastic & great fun!! Saint Emilion is a picturesque town surrounded by vineyards, with the most fabulous views, a must for anyone staying in Bordeaux! The visit to the chateau & wine tasting was an added bonus to the afternoon. Cannot recommend enough!!

We really loved our day with Helene, who was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. We took the TGV from Paris in the morning, arriving just in time to meet up for the tour. Helene gave our small group of 6 a good overview of the area and what to expect. From there, we visited one chateau and had a good tour of the winemaking process and facilities (and a lovely tasting). Then, we had a nice amount of time in Saint Emilion, followed by two more chateaus. Good wines, no pressure at all to buy. We learned lots of history, lots about wine from the region (and how reading the labels is so different from back home in the U.S.). We would highly recommend, and will definitely come back for another extended tour.

Rodolphe was amazing! His knowledge of the wine industry in France and beyond was extensive. It was really a pleasure to spend the day with him and would recommend a tour with him and Ophorus any time.

Our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable and we all enjoyed his commentary and conversation. The van was comfortable and the scenery beautiful. Our first wi ery was most enjoyable, but I found the second stop a little commercial and lacking atmosphere.

We had a fantastic tour made special by a fantastic guide. She shared a lot about Sarlat (no t sound) and it's history. The market was amazing....the tastings were good and and we were well taken care of.

We had a wonderful half-day wine tour with Lea! She was incredibly friendly and kind, and her driving was smooth and steady throughout the trip. On both the way to and from Saint-Émilion, she enthusiastically shared her knowledge about wine and the region, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Saint-Émilion was small but beautiful, full of charm. The winery we visited also had stunning views. Overall, it was a delightful and enriching tour – highly recommended!

I signed up for the Côte...

I signed up for the Côte nuit tour in the morning that was cancelled and I was put in the afternoon tour. The afternoon tour was not Côte nuit and I was not told that. I also think the morning tour to Côte nuit was not cancelled. I was not happy I was put in a different tour and not informed that it was not the Côte nuit

We searched several wine tasting tours, and most were full-day commitments. This one stood out as a half-day experience—perfect for our schedule. We visited two beautiful estates in the heart of Burgundy, both producing exceptional Pinot Noir, including Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines. Our guide, Valentin, made the experience even more memorable. He’s not only a knowledgeable wine guide but also an archaeologist, which brought a unique depth to the tour. At Philippe Leclerc and Domaine Quivy, we learned about the history, culture, and art of winemaking in a way that felt both personal and insightful. Valentin’s storytelling, local knowledge, and passion for the region made the tour feel authentic and engaging. Highly recommended if you’re short on time but still want a rich and immersive Burgundy wine experience.

Excellent experience and fun day

This was a wonderful tour of three wineries and the charming village of Saint Emilion. We enjoyed learning about the region and different grape growing and processing techniques. Mathis was very knowledgeable and friendly, making the day delightful for our small group. Definitely recommend!
