We did not reach Bayeux as our train from Paris was cancelled on account of heavy thunder storm activity in and around Normandy resulting in disruptions of the area around on 13 June evening. As such we had to cancel the tour, even though we were looking forward to being there. So the rating of 5 is only based on what I had read about it before booking the same.

Valentin was super knowledgeable about the history and geography of the area. He knew about all the aspects of making wine from growing the grapes to the wine production. It was an excellent value and wonderful small group tour.

The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. She made the tour very interesting, even for my two teenage grandsons.

Diverse and informative with great wines

Informative and friendly guide drove us to three wineries, two of which we were the only group there. She was great on advising us on pricing and what to expect at each one. Our lunch stop provided a choice of two restaurants and the one we chose was excellent. Enjoyed the outside seating on a beautiful day. She was able to drop us off closer to our cruise ship, but the walk to the tourist office is easy. Highly recommend this tour!

A lovely half day in Saint Emilion

I was pleased that we were divided into groups of four. Oscar gave us quite a bit of information on the way, and then we had a private tour/tasting at a vineyard. At the town of Saint Emilion, Oscar took us through the church and gave us time to roam a bit around town. A full day would be necessary to do a more thorough tour of town, but, if you only have a half a day, this was very nice.

Day in St Emilion and vineyards

Fantastic day in St Emilion and the vineyards with our guide, Gil. Gil is a historian and scholar who joyfully shares his passion. There were lovely surprises throughout the day! Very flexible and not rushed. Amazing. Highly recommended!!

Our Cassis day trip was awesome thanks to our tour guide Camille! She gave us a great overview of the area and was super informative on the boat tour as well. The lunch break in the middle after the boat was nice and it was appreciated she gave us good recommendations. Thank you Camille for a great day!

We had a great time on our exploration of Baden Baden and the Black Forest. Our van did get stuck in quite a bit of a traffic situation but it was handled calmly by most involved and resolved quickly. Our lunch stop in the Black Forest was delicious. Be prepared to climb a few steep hills and walk nature trails. Thank you for a lovely day.

Lena our guide was very friendly & knowledgeable! Weather was unfortunately not great . Enjoyed visits , which realistically are just tasters of each town , encouraging further visits to explore more ! Trip could be improved by extending time to be a full day allowing more time to explore each town .
