A great day out with Jerome, our guide, who was as witty as he was knowledgeable about wine. Three wineries and time for lunch and a tour of St Emillion. Much more attractive countryside than the left bank and more compact so I think a better option than a tour of the (very flat) left bank unless you are really into grand names and Cabernet Sauvignon. If you only have time for one, I’d go for the right bank.

Ilia was a wonderful host and guide. We visited two wineries and enjoyed variations of wines made with chenin blanc. Ilia was very knowledgeable and provided good detail about the process, wine and particular places we visited. This was a nice afternoon spent in the Loire valley.

Pascal was an amazing tour guide. He was so informative and detailed about everything. He really helped us to get a sense of what was happening at that terrible time in history. We saw so many great things, including the D-Day beaches, the American cemetery, and other sites. We could not possibly have understood what we were seeing without his expert guidance. We highly recommend this informative and moving tour!

Returning home.

As a previous resident of this region, I tried to do as much as possible by train etc, and my own knowledge. Trips however are a good way to get a few places in if you're are not staying in these towns overnight and language skills. Toulouse and it's surrounding towns need more than a few hours. A would recommend anyone to go back a second time. Beautiful area, steeped in History.

Wonderful wine afternoon

We had a very knowledgeable guide and a fun group of people on our tour. It was exactly what we expected for our half day of wine tasting. Wish we had a reminder to check the van before we left as I left my water bottle- but that was totally my fault. :) It was nice to get out of the city for a day and enjoy some of the smaller villages nearby.
