The villages we saw are very pretty and filled with historical interest. It was great to find out more about out Alsace, its history and the influences on its architecture and economy. Our guide (Carlos) was extremely knowledgable, responsive and very pleasant to be with. The van was well air conditioned which was wonderful given how hot it was.

Our guide Matt was wonderful! He was super knowledgeable and told the stories of D-Day with amazing and interesting detail. He made the entire tour fun and interactive. He was so passionate about the subject which shined throughout the day. The small group experience was worth every penny as it was way more personalized and allowed for more interesting interactions and conversation. We'll done Matt! Great trip overall - the only thing I would swap around is. Have the quick guided tour through St Emilion village first and then have free time. It would maximise free time for checking out areas not covered by the guided walk or have a specific place to go back to seen on the guided walk. We covered the same area during free time as we later did on the guided walk. Great day overall - Thoroughly enjoyed it
