Rodolphe was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and engaging. St. Emilion is charming, but unfortunately the wine we tasted was hit or miss. A few were quite tasty and the duds weren’t our guide’s fault. Overall we’re glad we booked this enjoyable tour where we met 3 other couples from across the English-speaking world.

A Wine Tasting Adventure
Well, I have to say … Hugo, our guide was fantastic. His exuberance, enthusiasm and knowledge was astounding. For the entire day he expounded his seemingly inexhaustible amount of information about winemaking and Bordeaux history, keeping us amused along the way. We visited three wineries, the first of which included a tour of the whole wine making process. All wineries gave us a wine tasting, nicely presented by each winery’s representative. We also visited Saint Emilion, a lovely village where we had the time to do a little exploration and have a nice lunch. All on our tour were very happy. Thank you Hugo for a great tour. Regards, Ian

We had a wonderful tour...
We had a wonderful tour from Myriam to two villages outside of Colmar. She is knowledgeable and so friendly, answering all our questions and giving us so much interesting information and history about Alsace, wines, the vineyards, and the villages. The wine tasting was great, she took us to two wineries who gave us many tastings. We got to stop for pictures with grape vines along the way.

Very good wine tour
Our wine tasting trip with Ophorus was fantastic. Hugo, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the wine industry and the processing involved. On the way to the chateau he explained in detail the strict regulations and conventions followed by wine producers and at the winery he presented us with some of the best wines of the chateau we visited and explained more about the process involved in the production of the wine. My husband who makes wine for our own family picked up a few good tips for improving his wine. The trip to Saint Emilion was nice too. It’s a very quaint town and a must visit. We definitely recommend this tour.

Victor was an amazing Tour Guide and Driver - he is very knowledgeable and clear speaking and is an excellent driver. He was patient and kind - brought everyone into the conversation and also took group photos. Nice gentleman.

Enjoyable day with Valentin to taste Burgundy wines and visit the countryside. The van was new and comfortable, and Valentin spoke very good English and knew the region and wines very well. We enjoyed seeing the countryside while tasting wines. Our three stops were all fairly commercial— one was a small shop and the other two bigger wineries— we would have liked to have one smaller family winery in the mix. Lunch on Beaune was good though quite touristy— perhaps an option to lunch in a smaller village could be interesting. Overall a good day — would recommend the tour.

Onze tour was super mooi. Twee dagen van tevoren kregen we het bericht dat ze al waren begonnen met het oogsten van de Lavendel. We besloten om toch te gaan. We werden over alles op de hoogte gehouden en er werd duidelijk gecommuniceerd waar en op welk tijdstip we werden verwacht. Onze gids was een parel! Heeft ons onderweg veel uitgelegd over de omgeving. Bijna alle lavendel was al geoogst op een enkele na en deze heeft zij ons laten zien! Een mooie ervaring! heel er bedankt!

We went to 2 vineyards...
We went to 2 vineyards and get to taste a few type of wine in a group of 8 people. Our tourguide Lawrence (I hope I wrote her name right) is very passionate and friendly and always try her best to explained us many questions. It is such great experience especially with her guidance. The vineyards owners are also very lovely. I’m traveling solo and it’s nice to meet and talk other people from other countries
