My husband and I had a GREAT time on the trip - the transportation was comfortable and easy, our tour guide Violet was SO nice, knowledgeable and made the tour fun/light hearted. We loved Cassis, it was one of our favorite stops (we recommend the oyster bar if you're looking for a place for lunch - the shrimp were to die for!) and felt like we packed a ton into the day and still go back to Aix early enough.

A picturesque day in Saint-Emilion
This experience was an incredible way to experience the French wine region of Saint-Emilion. We met our lovely group and highly-knowledgeable tour guide, Leatitia in the heart of Bordeaux, before venturing off together into the wine region. It was hard to believe such a gorgeous place existed only about an hour or so away from Bordeaux! During our journey, Leatitia kept us engaged with insightful information about Bordeaux and Saint-Emilionâs history and landscape. When in the region, we got to wander through the vines, gain insight into the wine production process in the territory as well as taste some gorgeous wines, with no shortage of spots to take some beautiful pictures. Following on, we spent a bit of time in the town of Saint Emilion, a UNESCO world heritage site (as of 1999) where approx. 2000 people reside. We also got to have a little sweet treat, enjoying some mouth-watering ice-cream before heading back. To end the day, we got to test our senses playing a little car game of trying to guess different aromas that could compliment or be infused into wines. Thank you Leatitia and the Orphorus team for such a wonderful experience we will remember for a long time!

Nogle dejlige vine vi fik smagt - sjovt at prĂžve de samme typer vine fra to producenter og smage hvor stor forskel der kan vĂŠre afhĂŠngig af terroir. Vil klart anbefale denne tur til alle der kan lide vin og Ăžnsker at vide lidt mere om Alsace vine.

We had a private tour of French villages that had prehistoric features all on our way to Lascaux. Ann was very knowledgeable and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour.

Helene at Ophorus was amazing!
This was an excellent experience! Helene was a wonderful tour guide - charming, funny, extremely knowledgeable, and a great driver, too! We stopped at three vineyards for tours and tastings, and stopped at other sites briefly for quick talks from Helene and photos. The vineyard selection was good - one was excellent, one was very good, and one was average but had a great tour. I would highly recommend Ophorus tours and hope that if you go you get Helene behind the wheel!

Rodolphe is an...
Rodolphe is an outstanding guide. His knowledge of growing grapes and winemaking is exceptional. He speaks excellent English and has the ability to explain everything from terroir, harvest, and making the wine in easily understood terminology. In addition, he is friendly and funny. We visited three chateaux, all family owned but very different in character, in addition to the village of St. Emilion. All in all, this was one of the best group tours which I had ever experienced.

Great tour with great guide!
We had a great time on this tour visiting 3 wineries/chateaux and spending the afternoon in Saint-Ămilion. The tour was 6 guest total and our guide Mirela was absolutely the best - so funny and she made it such a memorable trip. Highly recommend!
