Great winery visits and our tour guide Thierry was super knowledgeable about the local grapes, winemaking etc in the Alsace region. He also spoke excellent English.

The tour was really fantastic. We visited 2 family wineries which were very different from each other which enhanced the experience. Alex was very knowledgeable not only about the wine but the history of the area. We had a small intimate group which made it more enjoyable. The wine was great and the owner at the 2nd winery personally showcased his wine.

Enjoyed the small group tour of Alsatian villages with Léa. Usually the tour can accommodate up to 8, but only my husband and I had signed on for the day. Our guide was amazing: friendly, informative and helpful- setting a pace that was comfortable for us. This was worth every cent.

Excellent private tour of the Alsatian villages outside of Strasbourg - Rosheim, Obernai, Barr, Andlau & Mittelbergheim. Our guide and driver, Jerome provided just the right amount of info of each place. He is experienced, knowledgeable, considerate and polite. The pace was just right for a 8 hour tour for us. Jerome included an extra stop when we finished the tour of 4 villages early. Noor at the OPHORUS office also coordinated our bookings well. I would recommend them if you are planning a private tour of the villages in Alsace outside of Strasbourg.

Great experience, the two wineries we visited were small family owned. Thierry our guide was great, very knowledgeable about wine and the area. Thierry also speaks excellent English (and German).

Jerome our guide was punctual and very knowledgeable sharing details of the history of the pottery villages Souffleheim and Hunspach. He also arranged with the owner of Poterie Hauswirt for a tour of the back house of the pottery- making. This is one of the two remaining pottery workshops in Alsace. A must visit for pottery lovers. Unusual pottery not seen elsewhere, the colours are natural and they can be used for cooking or storing food.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this all day tour. There were seven of us plus our guide, Orlane. She did a great job starting with an overview of the region with maps before we boarded, then helpful commentary as she drove. During the day we stopped at three wineries for tastings, plus a few stops for pictures. We also had time for lunch in Beaune. We enjoy the discussions, the wine, and the company. It was a very good overview for relative newbies like us.

An unbelievably amazing D-Day experience...made the "BEST EVER TOUR" by our incredible guide Matt! The "behind the scene" stories that we had never heard, the passion with which Matt shared each and every event, etc., it all made our half day tour with Matt the best overall tour experience we have ever had! (And we have been living in France for teh last 10 months, going on many). We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the experience...and requesting Matt is a MUST!

The best guide and explanation by Hugo!
Good explanation on the winery, the guide is 200% good! Hugo is the best! Plus we did not want to expend all day in tour wine. 4 hours was enough for me on the Margaux wine.
