A very well organized, informative and enjoyable tour.

The success of a tour starts with the tour guide. We were fortunate to have Myriam, a very efficient and knowledgeable professional tour guide who also is refreshingly enthusiastic about sharing her love for the region. She kept all eight members of the group engaged during the whole eight-hour tour in a pleasant and non-overwhelming tone. The activities are well planned, we had a good walk in the magnificent castle, and a superb drive among the vines, with great stops at elevated vista points, and efficient stops in the villages. Myriam even added two villages to the program because we had time. We learned a lot about the region's geography, history, traditions and culture, as well as about the wines, and with that, we could enjoy even more our solo explorations in the following days.

Took the day tour to Chambord and Chenencau from Tours. Our guide, Ilia, was excellent. He made the suggestion to switch the order of the two locations to avoid the crowds after asking our permission, and it paid off! We had no lines and few guests to contend with at either stop. His tour was a great balance of history, stories to make the individuals come to life, time for Q&A, and free time to explore. He provided plenty of recommendations and was engaging and humorous. 10/10 would recommend and hope I can come back someday!

Matt was our tour guide for Omaha Beach, Pont du Hoc and Normandy Cemetary. He was exceptionally knowledgeable with great enthusiasm and was clearly passionate about these trips. He even provided some rain to enhance the authentic experience. Perhaps the best tour guide we’ve ever experienced.

The groups are small (that's very good) and our guide Lena was knowledgeable, pleasant and fun. There were many questions from our diverse group and she handled all very well. We enjoyed the three different tastings, complete with explanation of the cheeses, the wine pairing with the foie gras, and the walnut cakes. The tour thru the east side of the city was interesting and informative.

Matt was a true patriot whose story telling skills brought alive the preparation, execution and aftermath of the five battles that shaped the ending of WWII. A day well spent.

Lea’s wonderful tour

Leah was a fantastic tour guide. With her cheerful personality, and her wealth of knowledge, we learned a great deal about wine appellations. We had about 30 minutes to stroll around St. Emilion & sample a macaron. We visited Chateau Bellevue & learned about the actual wine production process and tasted several varieties & crus. A delightful experience.
