Stunning town

This would be one of the most beautiful towns in France that I have ever visited. It is absolutely stunning. We walked down the zigzag path, passing the 12 Stations of the Cross and there is information on all of them in both French and English. My daughter and I walked along the main street and then caught the lift which went half way to the top and transferred to cable car to the top. It was interesting to see all the houses and buildings built into the side of the hill, which is even more spectacular from the opposite bank, giving an excellent view. My only regret is that we had not booked our accommodation in Rocamadour rather than a nearby town. I would love to visit again and stay a couple of days and soak up the atmosphere. We then had lunch at a restaurant at the top but unfortunately I did not note the name!

Rodolpho Knows the WIne Business

This was a great day out. Our guide, Rodolpho, was excellent. His expansive knowledge of wines, wine-making and the numerous Chateaux in the area made for a thoroughly educational and entertaining day. In addition, Rodolpho has a great sense of humor, so much so that we were sad to finally say goodbye. We would highly recommend him.

Poignant DDAY experience

Matt from Ophorus took our Aussie family on the day trip to D-DAY sites, including the Omaha and Utah landing beaches, U.S. cemetery, the Pointe du Hoc site and historic Sainte-Mère-Eglise village. Matt's energetic narrative style was complimented with fascinating historical facts and aspects of the poignant period of D-Day. Our family enjoyed the experience and highly recommended Matt's Northerner charisma.

We enjoyed this trip with our young adults kids ( 18 and 21 years old). We visited 3 wineries and got to taste at least 20-22 different wines. Overall it was an enjoyable trip.

Great Day Wine Tasting from Strasbourg

Recently did the 1/2 day Alsace tour with friends during our Christmas break. Had a great day at tasting delicious regional wines, enjoyed hearing stories about the wineries directly from the wine makers and the unique history of the Alsace region. I even bought a magnum of Cremant to enjoy on NYE at our hotel! Our tour operator was funny, knowledgeable and kept us all on track after we had sampled the wonderful wines. The van was spacious and comfortable, Highly recommend this tour.

Great guide that was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. It would be an added bonus if the winery owners had come by to say hello.

It was very well organised and our guide proved quite knowledgable with great tips. Would have appreciated more time at Colmar for 1hr was too short to walk around and experience what the city offers… not to mention the Xmas wheel (accompanied by a 10yr old girl)…

My tour was the highlight of my time in Strasbourg, Jerome was fantastic and we had a great little group out for the morning. Both wineries were so lovely and the wine makers so gracious and welcoming to us. We booked the half day tour as we had limited time in Strasbourg but I would definitely book again and for the whole day !

Belle sortie viticole dans le bas-Rhin !

Très agréable guide Thierry, fin connaisseur des vins et de la région Alsace. Visite des stocks et dégustations généreuses. Les échanges sont intéressants. Fort agréable de quitter Strasbourg pour découvrir sa province environnante. Juste dommage que nous ne visitions pas les vignes en extérieur.

Wonderful tour during the holiday season

This was an absolutely outstanding experience on a cold December day during Christmas season. Our guide (Mayksim)was professional, knowledgeable and inclusive (making everyone feel welcome and included). We had a wonderful time seeing the villages, learning about the are and the important travel tips. I would highly recommend this tour and him as a guide.

Inolvidable!

Hicimos este tour y fue una experiencia inolvidable. Nuestro guía, Therry, fue excelente: muy amable, profesional y con un conocimiento impresionante sobre la región. Su forma de explicar la historia y los detalles de cada lugar hizo que el recorrido fuera muy interesante y entretenido. El itinerario estuvo perfectamente organizado. Colmar es un lugar encantador, lleno de colores y con una arquitectura impresionante. Los pueblos medievales como Eguisheim y Riquewihr parecían sacados de un cuento de hadas, y la visita al castillo fue el broche de oro, con vistas espectaculares y una rica historia. Sin duda, recomendamos este tour para quienes quieran descubrir la belleza de Alsacia de una manera cómoda y bien guiada. ¡Gracias, Therry, por hacer de este día algo tan especial!

Lovely tour. Hugo was a great, knowledgeable, personable guide who knew so many details of wine making. I appreciate his insight and answering all my questions. The wine was good and loved St. Emilion. A must do when visiting Bordeaux.
