Had a fabulous day on the Orphous Cave Art tour. Our guide Benoit was very knowledgable. It was fascinating to learn about the techniques which were used some 21000 years ago to create such wonderful artwork. Throughly enjoyed the whole day

Camille was very organised and shared a lot of of her knowledge about the history and her passion for the local area on our trip to Cassis. She was patient and easy to understand and made our day a lot of fun much more than it would’ve been had we tried to do the trip on our own. Her recommendations for where to eat was fantastic and the Gelato at casalini Was just perfect for a hot day. The places that we visited were really interesting, but Camille was the perfect guide. Onze gids Jerôme kwam perfect op tijd aan de vertrekplaats aan in een luxueuze aircooled Minivan. Het vervoer verliep dus optimaal, zelfs met 1+8 personen. Jerôme, die niet alleen een uitstekend chauffeur is, maar ook een onderlegde gids, vertelde onderweg diverse zaken over de geschiedenis van de Elzas, af en toe met de nodige humor. Een zeer aangename en interessante ervaring! Voor de proeverijen stopten we vervolgens bij 2 kleinschalige familiebedrijfjes waar we deskundige uitleg kregen over hun wijnen, de druiven en hun methodes. We leerden er ook nieuwe smaken ontdekken, een belevenis! En de wijnmakers zelf praatten vol enthousiasme, de ene al wat meer dan de andere, over hun producten. Jerôme wist ons trouwens ook te verbazen met zijn kennis van de Elzas-wijnen. Kortom, een aanrader op alle vlakken. We kunnen deze tour dan ook van harte aanbevelen, de halve dag was om voor we het beseften.

Great tour for this region!

This was one of the best wine tours I’ve been on. Our guide was great and our group was a lot of fun. The wineries offered us a great variety of the wines from the region, and our guide made sure we experienced different representations of each of the grapes. The villages we visited were also beautiful! Highly recommend!!

Pick up is a bit of a miss since dozen of other tours pick up from the same location. Tour was private and small. You do an interesting wine tour but our tour guide at the winery didnt speak good english and was insulted when I gently told him that “barrels” and “bagels” were pronounced differently. Basically the whole tour he kept talking about “bagels.” After the tour you go to a wine shop and they make you sample wine and seem to really try to make you buy bottles. The tour felt like a cash grab. Not recommended.
