This tour was very good and we learned a lot about the history of the wine made in the region. Luigi was a great driver and host with lots of knowledge . The 3 wine tastings were all amazing.

Lu was incredible! My husband, a diehard WWII fan, was so impressed with her depth of knowledge; and we both appreciated her attentiveness and care with our group. The van was very comfortable and we stayed on schedule while accommodating free time. I’m so glad we chose Ophorus.

It was a small group of 8 people with a very knowledgeable guide. The castles were fantastic and we had some free time at each stop to do some exploring on our own. Just perfect!

First have to say what a great guide Camille was. Such a lovely, warm, friendly girl, her English was impeccable as was her knowledge of the area, its people, history, traditions and local interests, restaurants etc. In fact the other couple on the trip who were from New Zealand said that the trip was excellent but it was the company which made it so special. The day itself was an excellent balance of sight seeing, boat trip, visiting places of particular interest and wine tasting. Would thoroughly recommend.

Our trip to St Emilion was great. We had 3 very interesting wine tastings. The best was the tasting Helen our tour guide did. I learned a lot about the right bank wine. And our tour guide took us through St Emilion and we even saw Petrus! Thanks.

If I could give Pascal 10 stars I would. From the moment he started talking I knew I liked him and his knowledge of WWII is astounding. He explained what happened after WWI to cause WWII which made so much sense. I've always been somewhat intimidated by the history but it really came together. This tour is a must do.

Our Tour guide Amelie was fantastic. Loved going through Albi and learning everything about to city. Her knowledge on the history is outstanding even when we asked about the 100 year war she didn’t hesitate to educate us. Keep it up!

Saint Emilion Wine Tour and Tasting with Guy
We had Guy as our guide and it was a fantastic revisit not only to the wine history but the history of the region as we drive to Saint Emilion. It was a beautiful vineyard with great tasting facilities and the tour of the cave was a lovely escape from the heat. Amazing day learning something new and tasting wine !

We traveled in a comfortable van, in a small group with a very kind, professional guide. We thought about doing this trip using ride shares or public transportation but are so glad that we did this tour instead. We honestly couldn’t have fit it all in, and we learned so much more from our guide, Alan. This is a wonderful way to have a personal and informative tour of Alsace.
