Very nice tour!
Our group of six friends enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Helen, was fantastic. Fun, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The three winery stops were nice. Very good wine. A stop at a smaller, family run winery would be nice as a comparison.

Lacking
Not one of the better TripAdvisor tours I’ve been on. The two wineries we visited were fine, though I’d characterize them as Tier 2 wineries that are mostly pouring <€20 bottles, so not the sorts of places vinophiles will frequent to restock their home cellars. The real letdown was the transport itself. Two issues. First, we were jammed in like sardines. Two of us had to sit in the front seat and the middle person’s knees (mine, on one leg of the trip) were jammed into the dash. The driver said we were booked for six (and the van sized for six), but then two more people showed at the beginning that weren’t on the manifest. The driver allowed them on, so either a screw up by the operator not knowing how many people would show or by the driver letting two unticketed folks to join. Second issue was the driver, who I understand was a stand in. If he said more than 10 words in our four hours together, I’d be surprised. He could speak English, but gave us nothing in the way of insights to the region’s history or culture. Did we get a discount from the tour operator for getting an unnarrated journey - hah! Not recommended. I wouldn’t use this tour operator again.

It requires a lot of walking uphill at Les Baux to see beautiful vistas but worth the effort if you can. Camille was an excellent guide, personable yet professional. She knows so many of history’s back stories. Excellent use of time!!!!

Perfect taste of French villages
Great 1/2 day experience with enough time to get a taste of the beautiful villages. Comfortable van, great tour conductor (Pauline) was very passionate and knowledgeable about the area. Does not include lunch, per se, unless you pop into a place and get a takeaway sandwich. Highly recommend.

A really good primer for the most beautiful part of the Dordogne of which the highlight was the boat trip from La Roque-Gageac. Benoit was a knowledgeable and laid-back guide with a dry sense of humour. It was all very relaxed. I would have paid a bit more to extend the time - in order to go inside Beynac Castle or perhaps the grotto at Domme

We did the 4hour tour to Omaha beach with Pascal. He was excellent, very knowledgeable, I am a bit of a ww2 buff but he told us things I never knew. I would highly recommend this tour as very interesting and informative but not to long. Wish we could of recorded the commentary and listened to it again. Put on your comfy shoes

Nice experience of Medoc wines
The tour of wineries was very nice. We did a separate tour of the St. Emilion area, so it was nice to compare the different Bourdeaux styles. The wineries we visited in Medoc were enjoyable, and we had sufficient time for a lunch stop. Our guide was pleasant, but not highly informative or talkative. He sat in the van during all of the tastings, which was the opposite of other tour guides we've had, so he didn't seem very engaged.

Wonderful experience of Alsace
The trip did exactly what it promised- a walk through Colmar, eguisheim and Riquewihr and a visit to the castle. Our guide Jerome was excellent- very knowledgeable but not needing to talk non-stop and drove very safely.
