Great tour, loved the second winery. Very authentic and purchased some very inexpensive wines, Thierry was very informative and we threw a lot of questions at him! The route we took was beautiful

Matt was amazing. He is a wonderful storyteller and gave us background on the Germans French and Americans. The tour was well researched and he painted a descriptive picture of what happened during DDay. He even volunteered to help us determine if our father was here during the invasion. I highly recommend this tour.

Half-Day Normandy Tour
We went on a half-day tour of Normandy beaches and the US cemetery. We started on time at 9 AM and finished on schedule at 1 PM. Our guide, Theo, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and understanding, spoke perfect English and was very understanding of our lack of French language skills. I highly recommend this tour and I hope that you get Theo as your guide.

Small Group Wine Tasting
Our guide was very thorough with the history of wine making in Aix, and during the drive to the first vineyard, we received a lot of information. His driving was good and we had asked that he not drive fast, and he willingly obliged us. There were two couples in the group, so almost like a private tour. We visited two vineyards and sampled 6 wines at each. The region is known mostly for the Rose wine, but we did sample some white and red wines.

Our guide, Valentin, was extremely knowledgeable. He was very friendly, easy to be around, and a great teacher. The vehicle was clean and air conditioned. The process of ordering wines from our tastings to be shipped to the US was seamless. Highly recommend.

Our guide was very nice, but unfortunately the tour itself was a major disappointment. The structure of the tour felt poorly planned, with far too much unnecessary driving and time spent looking at châteaux from the road. We felt like we spent more time in the car than actually tasting wine. It also made for a very long and exhausting day, particularly with so much time spent listening to extended commentary in the car rather than actually experiencing the wineries. We visited only two wineries, plus what seemed more like a wine shop, which felt very underwhelming for a full-day Médoc wine tour. The tastings were particularly disappointing. Several wineries offered very small pours, offering only two wines max to taste, and the wines themselves were not especially interesting. We even noticed tasting fees of around €8 at some of the wineries, which made the experience feel more like a series of inexpensive tastings than a curated wine tour. I have a WSET Level 3 qualification, so I was particularly looking forward to learning more about the Médoc and its wines. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much opportunity to do that. The overall experience felt quite basic, and the winery selection was the biggest disappointment. For €300 for two people, we left feeling that the experience was very poor value for money. What really stood out to us was how much the winery selection seemed to have compromised the overall experience. Our experience felt so bad that we had a negative view of the Médoc, so we actually decided to return to the Médoc on our own during one of our free days, and the experience was dramatically different—and cost considerably less. That really highlighted how disappointing the tour had been. Our guide was lovely, but unfortunately we would not recommend this tour based on the overall structure, excessive driving, winery selection, tastings, and value for money.

Great tour. Really enjoyed all the wineries and the tastings. Our guide, Lea', was excellent. Really knowledgeable and kept the tour fun too. Also good to have some free time in St Emilion.

Half day tour of St Emillion
We had a fantastic experience with our guide Roldof. He was very informative, interesting and funny. We met at the tourism office and were taken to St Emillion village in an air conditioned mini bus. We had a bit of free time and then were taken on to a Chateau for wine tasting. We tried several different wines with an informative explanation of the wine manufacturering process. We were then driven back to Bordeaux and played a game. Highly recommended, such good value for money and a wonderful experience whilst visiting Bordeaux
