Wonderful tour! Mostly small family owned wineries, which was great. Thierry had a perfect blend of wine/vineyard knowledge, history, personal stories, and humor. Highly recommend!

Die Tour war sehr schön,wir hatten überall genügend Zeit für eigenes Entdecken. Der Guide hat viel Informatives erzählt. Leider schien er eher krank zu sein und wirkte manchmal etwas abweisend und unfreundlich. Die Weindegustation war unpersönlich, der Winzer hatte keine Zeit für uns, hat den Wein verteilt und war dann von einer anderen Gruppe absorbiert. Das kennen wir anders und da es für uns das highlight gewesen wäre, fanden wir das sehr schade. Wir hatten vor Ort das Gefühl, zu stören.

We had an unforgettable tour of the Médoc vineyards with Ophorus. Our guide, Laetitia, passionately shared with us her deep knowledge of Bordeaux wines, French culture, and the art of winemaking, showing us how technology and tradition blend seamlessly together. We visited two incredible estates: Château Dauzac, where we enjoyed a private tour of the cellars and facilities followed by a tasting, and Château Angludet, where we sampled two fantastic wines on the picturesque deck and met their lovely cat, Caramel. Thank you, Laetitia, for a wonderful experience—we can’t wait to come back and discover more of the region with you!

Excellent tour with guide Valentin. He was well versed in the history of the Normandy region specific to the events of D-Day. Wish we had another day to explore as 2 days isn’t enough if you like the history. Will be returning and utilize Ophorus Tours

Helen was super knowledgeable and an immense amount of fun as a tour guide. She came prepared with notes and visual guides to help us understand how to taste wine properly. We visited a small family run Chateaux where we got to spend time with the owner who was so passionate about his craft. As well as a larger chateaux with an amazing rooftop terrace. We had plenty of time to explore the town of St Emillion. It was a great experience all around. We had a fantastic time, never felt rushed and learned a lot

Helene is really the best guide ever whose took a fantastic tour to the Bordeaux heart with humor and drama way to make you feel full of fun and knowledge in the way! With the background from her being in Shanghai 1+ year and I saw a real wider eyesight and capabilities of person who make the effort to make the customer worthy for it!

We had a wonderful experience on the Ophorus Saint-Émilion Odyssey Full-Day Bordeaux Wine Tour. Our guide, Helene, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and her hospitality was top-notch! We really enjoyed the wineries she selected, giving us the opportunity to experience different styles of Bordeaux wines and wineries. The variety was spot-on and offered something for the different palates and preferences of everyone in our group. We also loved having time in the beautiful town of Saint-Émilion to explore, enjoy the atmosphere, and of course, taste more wine! Helene did a fantastic job sharing her knowledge of Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, the wineries, and the wines while keeping the entire day relaxed, enjoyable, and fun.
