We had a wonderful time on the river, even though it is pretty low. It was our 9- and 11-year-olds’ first rafting trip, so they enjoyed an easy trip. Hunter was a great guide and very experienced!

My wife and I booked a half day tour of Arches NP with Mild to Wild while staying in Moab. Due to the high temperatures and our age, we were not looking for strenuous hiking so we booked a guided tour on an air conditioned 15 passenger van. It turned out we were the only two who had booked this tour so we essentially had a private tour with Darren, our driver and guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, interesting to talk to and overall provided a great 4.5 hour experience. We stopped frequently, sometimes for short hikes, others for pictures. He left it up to us as to how much hiking we did. Besides doing Arches tours Darren does river raft trips and jeep tours as well. Highly recommend him and his company.

The experience was great. The driver was informative, fun and friendly. We recommend this adventure to anyone wanting to experience the mountains without all the hassle. Let someone else do the driving and sit back and enjoy the views!

MILD TO WILD IS THE BEST OUTFIT IN TOWN!! The guides for the second year in a row have been fun and keeps the trip down the Animas as one of our favorites. We could not have asked for a better guide this year. EMBRY was great with my 9yo - held great conversations about the river and interests. Hands down you gotta check this place out.

We did the offroad jeep tour with Sam last week and he made the trip very memorable and a great start to our trip to Moab. It was way better than I was expecting. Would highly recommend Sam (he needs a raise)! Also did the rafting and it was fun. The river wasn’t as rough as I expected but the experience was fun because we swam in the river.

On Friday the 18th, my family and I did the morning raft session with Devon and we had a blast! She was incredibly funny and knew some pretty metal facts about the area. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks to everyone involved for the great trip!

Mild2Wild does a...

Mild2Wild does a fantastic job of getting us out there to raft on the Animas River! There were 10 rafts, each with a guide. Families were assigned to a raft to stay together. This avoided confusion and created a personal experience. If you have your own water shoes, bring them. I was advised to not bring my phone for taking photos. We needed to be vigilant and follow commands from our guide as we manuevered around the big rocks. We had a blast!

Wonderful experience! Loved our guide Bella! She made our day! Learned much about the beautiful people and history of these lands. All the views and sites/homes were mind blowing! Highly Recommend: A+++ day! Must do!

Fascinating tour

It's high altitude so drink lots of water. The guide was very informative and since we had a small group she was very flexible about what we wanted to do.
