Mild & Wild float
Great group rating guides took 3 boats on a roughly 7 mile trip on the Colorado River. At this time of year it's a pretty mild trip with only a few easy rapids. Team was professional, fun, & our guide Tom told us a lot about the area. The scenery is beautiful and it was nice to be on the river that carved it's way through to the Grand Canyon and beyond!

Terrific experience. My wife was apprehensive about being on rapids but we did the mild section of the Colorado River and it was a blast. Ashley, our guide is top notch, great stories and local historical information.

I can't say enough positive things about my multi-day rafting trip in Cataract Canyon with Mild to Wild. I'd previously joined them for a one-day rafting trip on the Salt River, so I knew they'd be a good choice -- but their above-and-beyond treatment on the multi-day trip exceeded all of my expectations. Our guides, Caleb, Devon, and Anna were amazingly knowledgeable, not just about river guiding, but about the natural environment and human history of the area. They worked nonstop, ensuring our safety, cooking amazing meals, managing gear and supplies, educating us, and creating a fun environment. The trip itself was a fantastic mix of big rapids, calm floating/motoring, great meals, fun hikes, and hanging out at incredibly beautiful and unique campsites. Thank you, Mild to Wild! I'll definitely be back for more.

Had a great tour to Mesa Verde. Our guide, Jay, was very helpful, personable, and a good soul. He made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the entire experience and brought a smile to our faces. We were in a small group, just 5 people total, so we had a fun time learning about Mesa Verde while also getting to know our fellow attendees. Lunch was a great time to chat about what we learned and swap stories. Highly recommend the tour!

Durango La Plata Jeep Tour
A fun afternoon with our tour guide Larry. Trip was pretty calm until we started the off road climb to 11,000+ feet. Our jeep rocked and rolled for 2 fun hours and the scenery at the peak was amazing. A great way to wrap up my trip to Durango.

Booked a full day on the Colorado River for our family of 6 (our youngest is 6). Customer service throughout booking was so helpful (shout out to Benji)! Everyone was so friendly the whole trip and our river guide was exceptional (shout out to Taz)! She made the trip so fun for our boys! Highly recommend booking with Mild to Wild.

On October 29, we went on a morning shuttle tour of Arches National Park with Darren as our guide. There were three groups of two people for a total of six guests. We walked at slightly different speeds and Darren managed us all well. We drove through much of the Park with Darren providing commentary on the history of the park and surrounding area. He pointed out important landmarks and shared stories of settlers who had lived in the park decades ago. He also pointed out plants and their uses and how the lands changed over time. I think we all appreciated his demeanor and knowledge. We completed five short hikes that gave us great visual highlights and photo opportunities. He never seemed concerned about time or pace and we actually got back to base a bit later than expected. A kind and informative young man with plenty of experience and cold water for us. Just finished a 4 day father-son trip in Cataract Canyon. We had an amazing time. Max, Gavin, and Skylar were a fantastic guide team. The kids all had a blast. Grayson was very helpful with all of our pre trip planning and questions. Highly recommend!

Great tour of a portion of the Colorado River. Had one of the calmer water tours with an introduction to some mild rapids which was perfect for a couple of first timers. Lots of safety instruction ahead of getting in the raft. Our guide, Emily, was knowledgeable of the area, very professional and personable.

Our group chose the wild trip and so very glad we did. From the beginning to the end, it was awesome. Darren was the best guide and never tired of our questions and requests for pictures. Darren was really awesome.

Totally recommend
We had a great time floating down the river! It was not as scary as we feared. The bus ride to and from the put in & take out points was good. The raft was perfect for our group of 7. The small rapids were fun and we didn’t care that we got wet. Our guide did a great job of telling stories and historical facts as we floated. We would totally recommend this tour!
