Did a van tour with Miles that was quite good in spite of the NPS shutdown of Mesa Verde. He clearly knows the history of the area and has great respect for the ruins and the culture of the ancient ones. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

Money making floating boat

We booked this trip whilst visiting at the end of September. No other companies were running at that time due to low water levels and I can now understand why. I feel this company wanted to extend their season for as long as possible just to make money. There literally was no white water, it was just floating down the river getting stuck on rocks. This wasn't fun at all, I just felt really annoyed the whole way through as I knew I'd been scammed. Although the guides were really lovely and friendly i would respect the management more for closing their doors earlier rather than get people in on a trip that is simply boring. I feel our money was completely wasted and would much rather have spent it on something else. I'll never go with them again and I will tell that to everyone else too.

They were a very organized company! They gave us a safety talk, told us to do and do nots of going into the national park. Nick and Sean were our guides and they were both very knowledgeable and pretty darn funny! They pointed out a lot of things you would not have seen if you were just driving through, you learned so much about the history of the park and how mother nature has a lot to do with making everything that’s in that park! They did a great job got us back on time. Only negative would be “Please wash your Windows”!

Excellent trip and fabulous scenery. You can see much of this if you drive the scenic Hwy 128 from Moab. But you get a greater perspective from the river view along with a little fun through mild rapids. Interesting information shared by the guide. Mild to Wild was well organized and knew how to run this trip efficiently. I would definitely recommend them.

Cat was great. Due to the government shutdown and parts of Mesa Verde being closed she improvised and provided a great learning experience for us. I did not appreciate a call at 9:10 pm the prior night from the scheduler asking if we could change our start times. The main office knew about the closures on Friday and waited until last minute on Sunday to call me about changing and at a late hour.

Friendly intro to rafting.

This was my wife & son’s first rafting trip, so went for « mild » experience. The tour guides were very friendly & informative. Our guide, Tom, had good anecdotes on the river and on the bus trips. The rapids were only Class 1 on our trip, but the scenery is splendid. My wife and son went for a swim in the 60F water, but I lingered on the raft to provide ballast. My son said he’s ready for more challenging rapids, so I consider that successful.

Mild to Wild Went Above and Beyond Expectations

It was on my bucket list to go to Arches National park. I did some research and found a 1/2 day tour for the afternoon with Mild to Wild. This was not the tour group recommended as part of the package of my travel company, But I felt like they would be the best. They did not disappoint! First, I was having trouble getting to their starting location. It wasn't far from the main street, I could have walked there. But the Uber I had reserved backed out. Mild to Wild helped me get to their location and waited on my family before starting the tour. They didn't have to do that. Because I put them a little behind, The tour operator told me and the others in the group he wasn't going to skip anything. We were going to get the full package. It was a wonderful experience. We got to see balance rock, windows, elephants, delicate arch (short hike, not the 3 mile one), etc. We had time to start at the park gift shop. We had brought hiking sticks and there was a few walks we needed. The tour operator let us know when needed or not. They also provided water for us to refill our drinking bottles. We did have a smaller group, but I felt that the conversations about Arches and the history that the tour operator specifically talked about based on his cultural knowledge was on point. I would highly recommend Mild 2 Wild for a guided 1/2 day tour.

Jay is a great guide, a lot of fun and a darn good driver. The views were unbelievable. I would certainly do it again, bumps and all.

We had a great time on our rafting trip today! We were on the gentler part of the Colorado River, which was perfect for us. Our guide, Irving, was excellent - he was courteous, professional, friendly and pleasant, and so knowledgeable! He explained all the safety instructions clearly, and as we went down the river, he told us so many interesting facts about the area! I would gladly come back and bring more friends!!!

Guides were not only knowledgeable but also entertaining without being cringe. They made sure everyone had a good time while maintaining safety. You can tell each guide tailors the trip to their audience. Devon did an amazing job for me and my family. Devon also has a top tier blue heron bird call

Got wet… had fun!

The rapids were low in October but we still had a great time. Gavin gave us a lot of history, geology and biodiversity information along our trip. We also managed to hit a few type 2 rapids and got a little wet in the process. FUN TIMES!
