Our rafting trip was awesome! All the staff is friendly and helpful. Nate was our river guide and he made the trip super fun for my entire family and our 8 and 11 year old kiddos. I would highly recommend Mild to Wild rafting to anyone.

Had an awesome time, and there were gorgeous views. Kelly was a great tour guide; she was knowledgeable not only about the Colorado River, but about things to do in the surrounding area as well. She made our trip so fun and very well worth it. Thanks Kelly!

We went on the 1/2 day morning trip for our family reunion. 40 people ranging from 4-75 years old and it was fun for everyone! We loved our river guides. They helped make the trip fun and safe. Highly recommend for a family activity where you just want to have fun on a river without too extreme rapids. Check in and getting set up was quick and easy.

Let me start by saying our guide Nikki was great. I was really disappointed in the efficiency of this place. My first rafting trip but others in our party had rafted before with better results. Our check in time was 8:15. It was almost 10 before we hit the water. There's only a porta potty provided at the meet up location and it stunk worse than the river side bathrooms at the river drop off and pick up. Be aware that on the half day trip there are no snacks provided. I didn't really expect them and we were prepared but when you get off the water and have to wait thirty plus minutes for your bus and then drive 45 minutes back to town a heads up would be appreciated especially because you are waiting with all the full day people who are provided a lunch. It made for a very hungry wait. Another issue other than extremely slow loading and the fact that people were still checking in almost an hour after we arrived was that we had so many buses ahead of us. We could have easily been there much sooner and if I raft again I'll call companies and ask about their procedures. I was also frustrated with how they grouped us. Our raft and guide was responsible for the kayaks so she was dividing her attention. She still did a great job. Thanks Nikki. BUT as a party of 4 of all adults we were grouped with a family of 6 with little kids. Our raft had one less row than all the others because we also had the coolers and lunches for the entire crew. That's 10 people plus a guide plus a huge yeti. On my first kid free vacation I spent my first rafting trip with someone else's kids in my lap most of the trip. Especially with Covid this could really bother someone. That was the least of my worries but should be mentioned. I really wanted the whole experience: rafting, rowing, swimming, etc. Technically I got it but it was not the experience I was looking forward to. Those poor kids were shoved into one row because of our raft set up and couldn't even fill their water guns or have a chance to row. How disappointing. I'm really hoping they had more room as they continued on for a full day after we got off. Let me also say that those kids were great kids. I just don't appreciate being on top of each other with someone I don't know all in my lap. Especially with what we paid. Consider how you group people! My dad is almost 70 and we purposefully chose a milder rafting experience. I planned to get wet, no problem. But being shot in the face with water guns the whole time is annoying. My dad can handle river splashes but to be drenched by kids fighting between rafts was not anticipated. We finally had to ask for them to quit. I don't expect kids to not have fun. I'm a mom too but it got old and could've easily been a different experience if families with kids had been grouped together instead of with an adult only group. All in all my first rafting trip was just ok mostly because of the size of our party being shoved into a raft that should've had 3 or even 4 less people. I couldn't hear our guide when she tried to explain things about the area which was one of our main reasons for choosing this tour. Word of advice if you feel similarly, book the kayaks. You can avoid others and you still miss the details about the place but you can control where you are and keep other kids from climbing all over you. I'm adding a photo below to show how crowded the front of the boat was. 6 people in the front section. After I got out to float a rapid the mom ended up in front of me which helped give the kids more room. You can't even see my mom in this photo. *I did pay for this image but haven't received the download yet. I actually had to buy two images to get a picture of all of us. Plan to budget $20 for the first image and $15 for the second.

We did the half day Mesa Verde tour. Our guide Johnathan was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job engaging our kids (5,10). We would have missed so much if we went unguided. Then we did the half day rafting in Durango. All the guides worked really hard and did an amazing job. Again our guide Dillon did a great job engaging the kids.

This was the best thing we did in Moab. The route is beautiful and stress free, with only a few little rapids to energize the ride, and the kids could swim in the warm, peaceful Colorado River for long stretches. None of us will ever forget the beauty and fun of this trip.

OUTSTANDING and exhilarating! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Coming from Florida we booked this tour not knowing what to expect. GRIFF was our tour guide. He is an extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was eager to point out special points of interest and stop to describe. We got up close to magnificent waterfalls and skillfully and with great caution guided us so we can climb close. Magnificent mountain , visually spectacular scenery, phenomenal customer service and BEST tour guide! A MUST DO !!

The family splash and dash was one of the highlights of our trip! Tanner (our guide and raft captain) was fun, funny, engaging, and a great tour guide to boot. Our kids were so sad to leave the river that we started planning our next raft outing on the bus back to base.

We took the tour from Silverton along the Animas river. Our guide Emma did a great job of explaining the history of the area. Old mining sites, abandoned towns and even a moose were viewed.

We booked the 3/4 day Animas River Rafting trip out of Durango. The best part of the trip was the entire staff. Especially our guide, Lauren! She was so fun, full of life and super strong. She made sure everyone had a great time while keeping us safe as well. She was super knowledgeable about the area and kept us entertained during the trip. The river was not as wild as we had hoped, but Lauren was the highlight of the trip. This was a 5 star not to miss trip for your friends and family.

Efficient processes for moving a lot of people up and down the river. Guide was friendly and professional. We did the half-day trip which was plenty for a group with a couple of kids under 10.
