We had a great time on our three-quarter day trip rafting down the Animas River. The process of signing up and then the day-of preparation was all very easy and relaxed. Everything was on time and the people that helped us were superb. My wife and I both wore our own wetsuits but in retrospect we didn't need them because of warm weather and low river levels that did not provide much splashing even in the strongest rapids. Our trip was definitely on the mild side but it was still a lot of fun. Our guide was Ben and he was so nice and very competent in all aspects of his job. He was engaging, safe, energetic and encouraging 👏. I would definitely want to raft with him again. Our lunch was turkey sandwiches and chips. It was simple but good. Everyone got the same lunch. This part of the world has a lot of natural beauty, so even if mother nature doesn't provide more river flow, it is still a worthwhile experience at a reasonable cost.

Our tour guide, Anthony, did a great job during our tour of Mesa Verde by giving lots of social and cultural history of the dwellings inhabitants, keeping our group moving forward while avoiding crowds, and engaging every group member …even our reluctant teens. I learned so much and had a lot of fun.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day whitewater rafting adventure on the Colorado River through Cataract Canyon. We took our 13-year-old nephew and it was an amazing experience because of the rafting guides and our fellow rafters. The guides did a phenomenal job of not only rafting, but preparing the amazing meals and engaging with the entire group on and off the river. Safety is their number one focus but they also ensure an exhilarating and memorable experience. They totally embraced our nephew to the point that this is now what he wants to do when he gets older. I cannot say thank you enough to Mild to Wild, especially Jesse, Marcus, Brynn, Annie, Adam, Mike, Scottie and Seth for making us feel like a part of your family! We all will remember this experience for the rest of our lives.

Took afternoon Castle Valley MILD (we're old folks - 70 and 76 respectively) for a first-time white-water rafting experience on June 14, 2022. To describe the experience in a single word: AWESOME! After suffering through 100+ weather and high winds in other parts of southern Utah over the weekend and on Monday, we were concerned about heat and wind. The day was absolutely perfect: low 80's and just a mild breeze. Our time on the water can best be described as minutes of boredom punctuated by seconds of sheer great fun as we hurdle through the rapids. Okay, so that is a bit of drama but it would be difficulty to find a much better way to spend an afternoon than floating down the Colorado River taking in all of the natural beauty the river and canyons have to offer. M<y wife and I came away from the adventure wondering why it took us so long; we will celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary later this week, to discover what a great experience rafting can be. Highly recommend Mild to Wild. Everyone I interacted with was highly professional and worked hard to make sure we thoroughly enjoy our day on the Colorado. Kudos to the entire staff!!!!!

Our tour Guide Evan was absolutely amazing! Super informative and detailed on the landmarks and very on top of what we needed to do next, he lost his ore in one of the rapids and showed no fear remained confident the entire time! We went on this rafting trip as one of our first together as a married couple on our honey moon and Evan will remain a huge part of this memory for both me and my Husband. Thanks for the amazing experience can’t wait to come back for more!!!

If you want to have an unparalleled adventure of being in some of the most desolate parts of the United States of America, but also want luxurious food and amazing hospitality, look no further. The crew was amazing, the views from the groover spectacular and the perfect combo of adventure, fun and relaxation. We took the 4-day/3-night version which felt perfect. We did late May which felt perfect for temp of the air and water mix + enough big waves to paddle through to get your thrills on. Thanks Mild to Wild for giving us brothers a lifetime memory! This trip was my third with Mild to Wild, this one was four days Yampa to the Green. Well organized, great guides, food and off water activities. We did two short and one long hike with with lots to see. The canyon views from the raft are fantastic. The company does not to get to choose campsites along the river (no company does as the forest service does that) but we camped one night at Jones Creek. The fishing there is excellent. Very helpful people to help you plan the trip as well.
