Our raft guide Cody provided us a wonderful experience our 2 hour ride down the Animus River in Durango. The river was low in some places, there were hidden boulders and Cody expertly guided us from these. We would go again with him on another river trip.

Emma made our rafting adventure wonderful!!! Our children had never been, and when it started to rain, they started to get anxious. But Emma was so engaging and fun that she kept them entertained and uplifted. Plus, I was comforted that she was the only female class five guide, so we were in good hands. The rain quickly went away, and we all had an absolute blast! We can't wait to go back again!

We took our trip for a half day toward the end of July. The water level on the Colorado was low, but the trip was an awesome family adventure! We had a blast and would recommend Mild to Wild outfitters. Our guide, Sierra was great. She was knowledgeable about the area and wildlife, and moved our raft along with expertise. The swimming was fun, and floating through some swift moving water out of our raft was a highlight. Thank you ..

We booked a half day Jeep tour out of Durango and had an amazing time! Our guide, Jay was so engaging and really made the trip special! We would definitely recommend this trip!!

Booked well in advance but Mother Nature didn’t agree with our plans. Molly and all really went the extra mile to restructure our package to make the 3200 miles of air travel and 5500 miles of vehicle travel worth it for our group. Next time we’ll know that July is a bit too late in the season to enjoy all the Animus and San Miguel has to offer. I’d recommend NOT buying a trip that requires qualifying unless you’re already qualified and/or are absolutely certain you’ll qualify. It would be terrible to be half way up the Animus and find out you won’t be rafting down and the train ticket will be $250 and the trip not be refunded. That could spoil a vacation quick. Luckily, our qualifying was rescheduled to the day before and when 4 of the 6 of us were disqualified there was time to make other arrangements to keep that part of the trip from being a bust. We had a great time despite setbacks. One real disappointment, though, was the photographer completely missing part of our group. Luckily, we had enough pictures of our own. Thanks Emma and Miles for hosting the overnight camping!!

This was a great family trip. Our guide Seth was funny and made the trip great. The one thing that would make the trip better is at the end of the trip it would be nice if Mild to Wild had someone taking photos. Because your on the river no one brought there cameras. It would be easy and you could just text or email the images.

Our second trip with MIld to Wild this summer. Both were excellent and appropriate for our skill level-None. Our guides, Dean and Luke, were skilled and infomrative. We will be back for a third time!
