We traveled as a couple and decided to do the kayaking. It was great to go at our own pace and have our space, so for us the kayaks were the way to go. A lot of the am river ride was really just a nice relaxing float, but there were a few really fun rapids mixed it. The staff is wonderful and Seth was cool af. Highly recommend

Two reviews in one!!! Rafting and Jeep! Man what a nice "relaxing" day today. KALEB YOU ROCKED!!!! (give this man a raise (customer is always right). Very knowledgeable and was totally awesome and was able to put up with the moderately behaved kids we had with us. 🤣 He knew a lot about the river and the surrounding area, also knew about the other rivers my wife and I have been on. Now if you're looking for class 3-5 all day rapids this isn't for you.... If you're looking for a little to no work trip down the river with a few light rapids do the all day trip. Bring a water gun or rent one so you can wage war and shoot the others. Best way to explain this trip is its like tubing down a river with a few light rapids but the views are worth a Million dollars!!! JEEP REVIEW So Dom was our guide, what a cool dude. I'm sure they will be sad to loose him as his "season" is coming to an end. Very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas too. Very thoughtful, caring and attentive to detail and of the people he is with. It's off roading, but most likely you'll be on the benches in the back of the jeep. So you're taking all of the bumps, and bounces and everything else. It is fun, you will get dusty, your back will probably need a massage or chiropractor afterwards but to see the amazing views and cool stuff it is 100% worth it.

I want to start by saying the staff was excellent from start to finish. Ellen, the guide on our boat was an absolute pleasure and book of knowledge. I had a 3 and 5 year old on the trip and it was definitely something they were able to do as far as the rapids go. Paddling was at times rather difficult and Ellen did a wonderful job keeping us motivated and moving down river. Her knowledge of the water and surrounding land made for a great trip and great memories! Thank you!

An absolutely amazing trip with the greatest guides on the planet! My friend and I from Denmark went on a 4-day trip on the green river through the Gates of Lodore. We have never been rafting but the guides made us feel very safe! Also, the food was incredible with fresh vegetables and it was all freshly cooked. We rented a sleeping pad, bought two sleeping bags, and a tent through Mild2Wild which were very comfortable. We decided to keep the tent and donate the sleeping bags. All in all, it was an amazing nature experience with great people and it was worth all the money!! Would highly recommend to anyone who loves nature, adrenalin but also relaxation at the small beaches where you set up your camp for the night!

We had a lovely float with Emma. She made sure our family of 4 had a blast and set our nervous 9 year old at ease. It was a beautiful flat water float with a couple small rapids. Perfect for any family who wants a relaxing afternoon on the water.

We went on a rafting Trip from 13. to 16. July at the Desolation Canyon with Mild to Wild with our guides Justin, Anni and Rachel. They were awsome and we had such a good time. There is nothing to compare with in Germany. The landscape of the Canyon is amazing and beautiful. Our giudes were the best you can imagine. Always in a very good mood, very responsible, open for every question, they prepared excellent food and our kids Luis and Greta loved them. We always felt very safe and secure with them. We hope to come back and see them again. 5 Stars+

Did a couple hours of river rafting with Sam as the tour guide. Sam did an excellent job navigating the waters and commentating the trip. He was a big part of ehy the trip was fun and entertaining.

I give the guide 5 stars. With that being said, I feel swindled by the experience we received for the price we paid. Our family of 10 paid almost $700 dollars to go "white water rafting." What we received was lazy river floating. The highlight of the trip was getting out of the raft a couple of times to swim in the river. There was one class 3 rapid which took about 3 seconds to ride through, otherwise it was absolutely boring. There were people drinking and floating down the river on inner tubes which looked more fun. I realize we should have done better research and realized that mid July is considered the "end of the season" and the river wouldn't be flowing. However, I live in New Mexico and I don't go white water rafting often enough to know when is the peak season. With that being said I think the company should offer a discount to people for end of season rafting. Paying full price is stupid. If I come back to Durango, I'd raft much earlier in the season. I feel the company should have a disclaimer or something about the experience. No thank you. Next time I will just jump in the Animas and go swimming for free in July.

Awesome Jeep tour through the mountain road in Durango . We had Jay as our guide and he was fantastic! Fun , informative and really made the trip special. He took very good care of all the passengers made sure we got in and out of the Jeep safely, new all our names and where we we were from and was just a great guy and guide! The views were AMAZING and just spectacular scenery! I would definitely recommend this tour.

This trip was memorable not just due to the stunning Gates of Lodore- but also the incredible guides that took us. Annie was a great leader, who did a wonderful job of keeping us safe and informed while making sure that we got the most of our experience. Jordan was also incredible- they took us on some wonderful hikes and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. All of the guides & staff we interacted with, even Mitchell and Seth were a wealth of knowledge and didn’t hesitate to share their stories with us. Overall, this was an unforgettable trip through a wonderful area that I would recommend to everybody.
