Our rafting trip on June 22, 2023 with Mild to Wild was so much fun. We laughed and our group just enjoyed themselves on the water. Great time and our guide, Lucy, couldn't have been better. Highly recommend checking this place out for your river rafting adventure.

This is what I sent them, in response I received to their email asking for a 5-star review. I received no response. I will not be giving 5-star reviews. First, you lost our reservation. We arrived to have you tell us you had us in the system as going on the 25th. We had plenty of proof we booked the 22nd. To your credit you fixed the issue and found a guide and raft but it added stress. Later we found out you did the same thing to another group. Second, you upsold us on neoprene booties that were a joke. They all leaked and were useless. I specifically came in nice wading boots for fishing and was told they would be too cold. Third, the gear-up process was a mess. There was no smooth process which resulted in people wearing body suits in the hot sun for up to 30 minutes. And to make it worse you told people not to sit in the bus where there was shade. For no reason. You could have posted a guide at the bus door - have your clothes, helmet, pfd, and paddle? Get on… Fourth, your safety protocols were horrible. Literally one minute into the float a boat lost all passengers, then flipped and lost the guide. Ok, that happens. But the other boats and that guide weren’t sure how many people to be looking for, who was doing what, how many customers had been picked up where, etc.. There were no radios and the guides didn’t use their phones until finally further downstream one guide called at least one other, and was frustrated with what was happening. We spent 30 minutes sitting there basically doing nothing other than wondering what was happening. We ended up taking one of the swimmers who had walked upstream, crossed a bridge, and walked downstream to find us. There could have been a swimmer downstream or missing and you all would have had no idea. Ridiculous. Finally, our guide was nice and seemed effective on the oars. None of what I described was his fault. This was all management and lack of protocol. I look forward to your response and/or manner to address before I post publicly.

We had a magical 4 day trip through the Gates of Lodore. The river and canyons were the stars of the trip the but the guides made the trip easy and fun. Despite high winds they powered us through the first day with great spirits and then cooked a wonderful meal. In fact, all the meals were better than my cooking at home. The guides were incredibly friendly and knowledgable and clearly tried as much as possible to adjust the trip the collective group's interests and wishes. We'd go again in a heartbeat.

Um... the BEST!!! Way to knock one of the bucket list! Beautiful country! Knowledgeable, talented, fun and entertaining guides! Truly. First time white water rafting, never for a moment did I fear the Class IV waves! And I was on the front of the nose (almost) diving in head first! 😂 The food was top notch and healthy. Rollin' down the river, pure adrenaline rushes, late night camp fires, coolest group of people we got to vacation with, laughs!... I never wanted my trip to end!!! P.S. And I think this may have become a new addiction... 🤣

Our family had an awesome experience on our 1/2 day Rafting tour with Shawn and Tysa. From the front desk to the bus ride and our tour down the Colorado River, the staff were awesome. Next time we're in Moab, we'll probably do a full day.

Can you say....adrenaline rush to the max?!? Lizzy was an INSANELY awesome guide! We were laughing, roaring over the white water rapids and itching for more! I would say it was a "solid" 3 Cannot wait for more!

We had a huge group of 21 people. Caleb and Ashley made sure we had a great day rafting. No request was denied. All in all wonderful experience. I will return with another 20+ group again!

Sky and Alissa were our guides and made the trip fun and enjoyable. They were super friendly and helpful with everything. Sky was our personal guide and knew a lot about Durango and the surrounding area having grown up in Crested Butte. We would highly recommend Mild to Wild Rafting to anyone. Ask for Sky and Alissa.

Wonderful trip with Dylan, Jessie and Marcus. The Piedra river was a new exploration for me and they were excellent guides. This was my fourth trip with this outfit and every experience has been 5 stars for adventure, safety and most importantly lunch!
