We rafted the Animas River on August 18 and had a great time! Fate, behind the desk, was very helpful and accommodating and patiently answered my many questions. Jaden, our guide, was excellent - knowledgeable about the river, experienced, fun and positive. We appreciated his relating facts about Durango and the Animas as we floated. He also gave clear instructions for paddling. We felt like we were in good hands. We’re glad we chose Mild to Wild!

We had an amazing family vacation on M2W’s 6 day Desolation Canyon rafting trip. Jackson and Branden were phenomenal river guides. They were high energy, knowledgeable about the area, highly skilled in their abilities, friendly and engaging, and committed to everyone having a great trip. They were top notch. We feel very fortunate our family was able to experience Desolation Canyon. Truly a once in a lifetime opportunity! Thank you!

Had so much fun rafting! Luke did such a great job of guiding us and ensuring we felt safe and had fun throughout the trip. Never was there a boring time with Luke - ask about his jokes! Definitely recommend!!!

Wow! What a fantastic time kayaking down the Animas River with Mild to Wild! Steve, our guide, did such a great job leading us down the river. Steve was super fun and knowledgeable. I have now rafted and kayaked with Mild to Wild. I can't wait to try their jeep tours next!

What a great time! The staff was professional, knowledgeable, and great fun. We had a large group with 4 boats and every group thought they had the best guide. Of course, Brody was really the best. He even recommended some things to do around town and his advice was spot on. Thanks for a fabulous time!

We took a beginner trip - 2 hours on the Lower Las Animas in mid August. The water was pretty mild, our guide Thomas was fantastic. We took our 5 year old without problems. Our 12 year olds wished for a more adventurous time. As for mom, I thought it was great. The route takes you through the town of Durango and so the views are mostly buildings and you will see a lot of people on the side of the river. Great time overall, next time will try for earlier in the year on a slightly more adventurous trip.
