Absolutely fantastic experience! We did the Express Single Day (and regretted not getting the lunch…it smelled SO good). Trey was such a great guide, and our kids absolutely loved him. He was so great about getting all of us comfortable paddling the boat before getting started. We loved hearing the stories about the reservation, and the rapids were exciting without being too scary for the kids (ages 11-19). We absolutely want to come back again for an overnight! Thanks so much for the highlight of our trip!

Annie and Jordan were incredible guides. They were informative, attentive, and FUN! We had three adults and three kids in our group and everyone had a great time. The food was amazing, camp was very well stocked and the river was spectacular. Highly recommend!

We loved our Mild to Wild white water rafting trip of the salt river! We did the 6 hour trip with lunch included. The scenery was beautiful, the weather perfect, and the rapids were amazing. But the thing that made the trip the best was our river guides. Laura, Nate, and Sam. Sam is the O.G. of river guides. He is kind, fun, calm, knowledgeable, and a great cook. He told us exactly what was coming up, what we'd need to do, and was calm and collected even during stressful parts. He also told us interesting facts about local flora and fauna, interesting Native American legend, and pointed out wildlife. I would highly recommend taking this tour!

If you’re looking for some serious rapids, make sure you book accordingly, or you might be a tad disappointed. Besides that, the trip was very fun, safe, and full of laughs! Good for families even with small kids :) Our tour guide Ashton was simply amazing. He kept everyone engaged, safe, and happy. He was easy on the eyes as well (added bonus)

We had a blast! We drove thru snow and sleet to get there and were worried we would be freezing but Mild to Wild had all the wetsuits and splash jackets and extra fleece jackets we needed to stay warmer and drier. Sami was the best getting us thru the rapids safely and 'funnly'. The Salt River Canyon is stunning in it's beauty and wildlife. Trey made us some great steaks too! Can't wait to go again.

What an amazing time we all had. This was my first time rafting and it was a great experience with plans to come back again. Jesse, our guide was awesome! He had good knowledge of the river and surrounding landscape. He made us feel comfortable as he talked us through what was needed for us to have a fun and safe trip. All of the Mild-to-Wild staff was great, very kind and doing what they could to make sure we had a memorable day. I would highly recommend this trip and company, getting a large group (8) together and getting everything set up and scheduled was very easy. They helped with any questions or concerns we had, and we quick to respond and answer.

We celebrated our 47 year Wedding anniversary on March 31 with a trip on the Upper Salt River. Mike did a great job of getting us down the river in one piece. He was very knowledgeable on the river and plant and animals living in the Salt River Canyon. Will plan our next trip down the Salt in the future.

This was the experience of a lifetime. I went with a group of friends on a 4-night trip, and of course my company made it totally worthwhile. But the guides were a massive part of our experience, on and off the water. They were spectacular in every way: their knowledge of the river, the history, the environment was always on point and interesting. They were kind, outgoing, always in good spirits, and the FOOD was fantastic. Definitely the best I've eaten over 5 consecutive days in a long while. We had so much fun. Unforgettable experience. I cannot recommend this trip strongly enough.

We recently did the Mild to Wild 4 day Salt River trip, what a special place! This remote and wild section of river is spectacular, with breathtaking scenery and lots of opportunity for wildlife sightings. The river was very engaging with lots of fun rapids. The booking process was really easy, and I appreciated how the Mild to Wild team was able to answer all of my questions beforehand. The guides Seth, Jesse, and Nathaniel were fantastic! We took our 10 year old daughter with us, and not only were they super engaging and kind, we also felt like our safety was their number one concern. They took really good care of us the whole trip, making great meals, answering all of our questions, and checking in to make sure we were having a good time. They were super knowledgeable about the river and its natural history. We were surprised by how much the guides added to the overall experience. Not only are they expert river guides, they are exceptional people and we were so grateful to get to share the experience with them. This trip was a dream family vacation that we will talk about for years, and we would definitely go with Mild to Wild again!

Evan was our raft guide and the entire team of guides and staff worked great together making it a hassle free day! Enjoyed and highly respect Evan's passion for guiding and conservation. Evan hit all the rapids perfectly, narrated the journey expertly and we had lots of laughs and beautiful scenary to enjoy. The open air 4x4 ride back to base camp (we did full day with steak lunch) was also highlighted by a spirited bald eagle and raven flight sighting and wild flower views galore.

We had a great 1/2 day trip on the Salt River with Tissa (sp?) as the guide for our family of four. It was a nice mix of fun rapids, relaxing floating and a good history/geography lesson. We were a little hesitant with the weather as we had snow on both passes on the drive over but the company did a good job of making sure everyone stayed warm. Despite the low temps and somewhat cold hands we persevered and had a great time! Definitely pack fleece/polyester top layers and socks as you never know when you will need them!

Our family of six had a great day on the Upper Salt River!! We have four kids aged 10-14 and it was their first white water rafting experience. Nathaniel, our guide, made us feel safe in the water and kept us entertained the entire time on the full day trip. Lunch along the way complete with grilled steak was the perfect reprieve. The scenic Jeep ride back to our car was an added bonus to a fun day that we will always remember. If you’re thinking of White Water Rafting in Arizona, I highly recommend Mild to Wild!
