We did the half day (4 hour) option and had lots of fun! The guides were very energetic and friendly (especially our guide Emma). The route was very beginner friendly but still tons of fun!

Hannah was an amazing guide! She was knowledgable and did a great job in making the ride super fun for our young family of first time rafters! Would recommend this experience to anyone wanting a beautiful and pretty tame trip through some of the most breathtaking beauty on the planet.

We recently took a Mild to Wild raft trip down the lower Animas with our guide Robbie. First of all the whole crew at Mild to Wild provided exceptional service from the phone call to book the trip, our shuttle driver Dave taking to and from the river and Al the other staff that helped in the process. Robbie was very exceptional during both the drive to the river and on the river during excursion. He provided a ton of local knowledge about the surrounding area and great places to eat after our trip as we were famished from paddling. lol Robbie made it a point to learn all seven our names and would engage us by name during the trip. He also made us feel as part of the team by involving us in navigating the boat. My thirteen year old son thoroughly enjoyed the trip and said it would be an awesome job to have only because Robbie made it seem so. Thanks again to Mike to Wild for an amazing trip and great pictures but a HUGE shout out to Robbie for his navigating skills, personality and exceptional guide service. We will be back again, maybe the upper animas.

We had a great time on the river. Liam was our guide and he was great. We saw eagles, rock formations and the rapids were fun. We felt very safe and would love to do it again.

My family and friend recently had the pleasure of going on a rafting trip with Mild to Wild and from the very start, the experience was exceptional. Meghan, the office manager, did an outstanding job coordinating our journey. Her attention to detail and clear communication ensured everything went smoothly, and we felt well-prepared for the adventure ahead. The trip itself was fantastic, thanks to our incredible guides—Abigail, Luis, and Lauren. They were not only knowledgeable and professional but also incredibly caring. At the beginning of our journey, I was stung by a wasp. They swiftly took care of me and ensured I was safely transported back to home base. Their quick and calm response turned what could have been a stressful situation into a minor hiccup. To top it all off, the company followed up with a call to check on my well-being after the trip, which was the cherry on top of an already excellent service. I cannot recommend Mild to Wild highly enough. Whether you’re a seasoned rafter or a first-timer, you’ll be in excellent hands with this amazing team.

What a fun day!!! Started out a bit unsure about how cold it would be and the crew highly recommended wetsuits-Thank You!! It was cold when you got wet and who doesn’t want to get wet in a rapid when you’re rafting?? I was soaked. Hayden was a fantastic guide!! Knew how to command us and have fun. He was also very personable and knowledgeable about Durango, thanks we learned alot from the guy who is from ‘The World’😊 See you in the Upper Salt River in Spring ‘25 Hayden.
