My husband and I had a wonderful experience on a trip we had wanted to do for a long time. It uses your strength in paddling if you choose to do that but wad great fun. Our guide Marcus was the best working with us who probably he oldest in a group of many rafts as well as with children. He steered us so well and we would highly recommend Mild to Wild.

We had the best time rafting down the river today! Not only was our guide, Steve King, an expert on getting us down the river safely, he also pointed out areas of interest along the way. He loves what he does and it shows! We will be back next year in hopes we get Steve King as our guide!

Our family had a wonderful time on this raft ride along the Colorado River with Ashley. This was our 1st raft ride along this stretch of the River - east of Moab. What a BLAST!! Our guide was great with directing our raft through the rapids. Spectacular views and scenery. We would definitely choose this ride again with 'Mild to Wild.

We had a great time this morning on the half day Animas river trip. Our guide Richard was very knowledgeable and a great guide. It’s not a wild ride by any means but a great starter trip for our kids who have never been.

Our group had a wonderful time ! Will, was the best guide had tons of knowledge about the things we floated by, was up for water fights & surfing and even helped us sing Happy Birthday to the little boy in our group (on another boat)… He also recommended a local Mexican restaurant and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be back and will ask for Will again.

We did a half day Colorado River float starting at 1:30pm and had an AWESOME time. The guides and crew at Mild to Wild are sooo friendly, knowledgeable and encouraging. We got to float down the river with ‘wet’ Sean who happened to be the trip lead. He was very clear, encouraging and had so much knowledge about the area. Would definitely recommend to anyone. A great trip for those who’ve never done rafting before.

Efficient & exceptionally well organized! Our guide, Casey, did an amazing job of navigating the rapids & the low water. Friendly, courteous staff! We had 2 young children with us & everyone made sure that they enjoyed every aspect of the trip!

They were so knowledgeable and made rafting for my whole family safe and fun. Robbie was our guide and was just the sweetest with my kids (ages 7-13) and had so much great info about the river and town of Durango. Definitely recommend!

Great day in the water with Nathaniel . But it started way before that. Hanna greeted us and finished our check in. She was lovely and professional and took great care of us so efficiently. Then I had a weird fall backwards and lost my footing. I fell hard and hurt my back and head. Luckily i had all my gear on. Nathaniel and another guid quickly came to help. They seemed genuinely concerned and you can tell they have emergency training. It took me a few minutes to regain my composure etc. but Nathaniel had me by his side and kept an eye on me to make sure I was ok. It could have been embarrassing because. My fall was stupid but they took it seriously and I’m so grateful, the river was great and the guides know what they are doing. It was so much fun. Use this outfit because they do little things that make a big difference.

Amazing trip rafting and camping through Desolation Canyon on a big family trip. The class 2-3 rapids were so fun, and camping under the stars was magical. Our guides Abigail, Caleb, Wilson, and Ben were awesome, kept us safe and on track in the rafts or in the 2 person kayaks,, fed us fantastic meals, and were a lot of fun. The view from the river showed us gorgeous canyon views every day, plus a black bear, bighorn sheep, deer, and many birds. Short hikes included petroglyphs. They were sensitive and patient with my fear of heights on the hike to the boat launch which can be bypassed by vehicle.

I would give them 10 stars! Art, our driver was great; thought of everything. From water to blankets to tp at the porta potties. Tour was amazing! Loved that they reached out to us to organize after our original plans on train fell thru. Definitely do the tour with them around Silverton.
