What an amazing experience it was rafting down Desolation Canyon with our guides Evan, Jordan, Luis and our plus one Gracen. The plane ride, rafting, kayaking, food and our guides was a 10+ experience. We knew the rafting would be awesome but our guides were just as amazing. They elevated our rafting trip from great to exceptional. Not only did they make us feel safe rafting, but they were great cooks and we all shared many laughs getting to know one another and learning about the canyon. Also Jordan's playlist was the bomb. We also saw lots of big horn sheep, blue herons, 3 bald eagles and even a bear came out to drink from the river during our last breakfast. What a fantastic surprise. Our group is already in talks about trying to do the Salt River in 2025 if we can request Evan, Jordan and Luis again. What a great trip!!!

We were a party of 2 and opted for individual kayaks. Noah was a great guide, with excellent communication and clear instruction. We loved our half day float down the river! Highly recommend!

We had an incredible rafting trip on the Colorado River near Moab, Utah, led by our amazing guide, Emma. The scenery was breathtaking, and Emma's expertise and enthusiasm made the experience unforgettable. She ensured our safety while keeping the adventure thrilling. Highly recommend this trip to anyone seeking an exciting and well-organized rafting adventure!

Really loved our guide, Noah, and the kayak experience. Noah knew what he was doing and pretty much saved my life! We did have issues upin arriving and getting on the right trip. Staff took care of us very well. At check-in the staff did not give clear directions and we got on the wrong bus. Everyone from that point on took great care to get us where we needed to go which led to a great time!

We did the morning half day rafting trip and had a blast! The perfect introduction to rafting for kids. Our girls, age 4 and 9 loved the small rapids and the many opportunities to get in the river and float. Our guide Ashley was so knowledgeable about the river and so great with engaging kids! Highly recommend for families with kids!

Our family had an amazing time rafting with Mild to Wild! The scenery was stunning, and the guides were friendly and incredibly helpful. Rafting in Moab was definitely a highlight of our trip. Special thanks to our guide Emily, who not only navigated the river expertly but also shared fascinating stories about Moab's history and culture. She was a true gem!

Their half day rafting was a perfect introduction for our girls, 7 & 10. Our guide, Katelyn, was skilled, knowledgeable, and so kind. I would highly recommend this company for family adventure in Moab!

My family and I were lucky to have had Art (a/k/a “Papa Dukes” as our guide on a half day tour of the Mesa Verde National Park a couple of days ago. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, as well as the local plants and wildlife (such as when he made sure to point out a raven’s nest and baby raven that he found several days before on a cliff opposite one of our stops). As an added bonus, Art is also a professional wildlife photographer, which came in handy when it came time to take some family photos with some beautiful scenery in the background. And best of all, since we had no other companions for our tour we were able to ask Art a ton of questions, which he patiently and knowledgeably answered. All in all our whole family had a great time and I’d highly recommend asking for Art in particular!

This is my second year on a 4 day, 3 night rafting trip with Mild to Wild, and I'm already looking at next year's trip! They go above and beyond to take care of everything you need, are tons of fun, and GREAT chefs. Would highly recommend!

We have used other rafting companies in Durango over the past 30 years but will always book with Mild to Wild in the future. We had a great trip with Toby and he took great care with our young kids.

We had a great time on the Lower Animas River. Dylan was our guide and was fantastic on giving instruction. He was really personable and we enjoyed chatting with him. There was a wide range of ages in our group of 7, from 6 to mid 60's and it was mild enough for our littlest person and had 1 section that was fun for our 16 year old. It was a great introduction to rafting. We are definitely will be back for more.
