Our family had the best time with Dean! We did the 3hr Splash and Dash and it was a perfect break to all the hiking. Dean was friendly and knew random facts about the area and landmarks. Everything from Bon Jovi music videos shooting locations, movie facts to local insects, plants and river facts. He even spotted a bald Eagle and its nest! He was fun and engaging but not overbearing and made a calm, low water day fun by expertly navigating the river aiming for the best rapids. Highly recommend!

We came out for my birthday and had a great time with Konrad as our guide! My husband fell overboard but got back in quickly- we’re just sorry we didn’t get a picture of the fall. My kids already want to go again, and try out more difficult rapids.

First time taking the family out rafting. Ben and Katelyn made everyone feel so at ease and safe. They brought to see so much incredible scenery and provided a lot of geologic and historical context. 100% recommend and looking forward coming back.

Sammy is the best water rafting capitan couldn't ask for no better guide well explain colorado history she made it allot funner!!! Ask for her !!! u won't be disappointed will definitely visit soon.

Sammy was a great tour guide! She was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of history of the Animas river and Durango Colorado area. She was also very kind and explained how the experience would unfold to my son that needed a little convincing to do the activity. I would definitely do the rafting trip again. This is a can’t miss attraction whenever you find yourself in this little corner of the world.

Awesome experience! My husband at 75 with a shoulder replacement done 3 months ago and two of our grandsons, 8 and 9 years old had a wonderful experience. It was exciting yet always felt comfortable and secure. We will plan to do this again with the next set of grandchildren.

The San Miguel was getting pretty low for our morning trip, but our guide Rob jumped out when needed to drag us through the shallow sections. Beautiful river canyon. We did more paddling than most trips I've been on, which was fun.
