Great experience. Easy river to take a small child on. My son is 6 and I would feel comfortable taking a younger kid in August, when the river is so mild.

I had an incredible 5-day rafting trip in Desolation Canyon! Our guides, Even and Jackson, were outstanding. They expertly navigated the rapids, shared fascinating stories about the canyon’s history, and made everyone feel safe and included. Their enthusiasm and knowledge truly enhanced the experience. The scenery was breathtaking, and the camaraderie unmatched. Highly recommend this adventure! Five stars!

Check in was fast and easy for an afternoon trip on a Saturday in early August. We did the shortest raft trip with two young kids and water level was not high. Despite that, our guide Trey did a great job keeping the trip entertaining and maximizing the fun we did have in the rapids. The kids are already asking to go on an overnight raft trip.

We had so much fun on our jeep tour! Our guide, Jay, was so knowledgeable and catered the tour to our family’s interests. He was fantastic with kids and took great care of all us. We had a blast! We also did a rafting excursion which was definitely a family favorite! Our guide, Sam Gray, made the experience memorable and so much fun. Our kids loved it! Would definitely recommend both tours!

Art was our guide, he was entertaining and knowledgeable. He was always happy to answer questions. He drove slow around corners so we didn't get ill. He took time to go back and see the bear.

Perfect first rafting trip for my 10yr old! Jaden was our guide and he was full of so much local knowledge that he really made the trip the best it could be! Request him if you can! We went the first part of August so the water was pretty low with nothing too crazy, but still fun moments getting splashed by rapids.

Our group (4 teens, 3 adults) had a beautiful trip through the Gates of Lodore with Annie, Jordon and Peyton. Scenery and excitement, tasty cooking and no hassles. Bonus, all guides were patient and fun with our kids who had a blast.
