We did the 5-mile day tour out of Moab on Monday, April 29th, and it was absolutely epic. Gavin was our guide — and this guy LOVES what he does. You could feel the energy from the second we pushed off. He wasn’t just guiding, he was putting on a full show — cracking jokes, telling stories, and making sure every rapid felt like a blast while keeping it totally safe and smooth. Even though the tour is kid-friendly, it still packed plenty of excitement — the four rapids had just enough punch to keep it fun without being intimidating. The nature out there is insane — towering red cliffs, epic water, unreal scenery around every bend. Honestly, Gavin made the trip — knowledgeable, entertaining, and you could tell he genuinely cared about everyone having a great time. Highly recommend it if you want a mix of adventure, laughs, and jaw-dropping views.

Our trip was wonderful! It's always a pleasure to see the beautiful geography from the river as a different perspective. Our guide Payton was very informative. The castle valley part of the river is very mild and friendly providing lots of opportunities to enjoy the scenery and wildlife.

We had a great half day rafting trip with our guide Peyton! She was gave us lots of fun factoids about the region and made a great experience for us. We were a little apprehensive about taking our 4 year old but she had a great time and the guide was really good about checking in with her. Recommend booking with them!

What an awesome adventure. Kane Creek Canyon is absolutely breathtaking. Devon, the guide, was perfect in every way, smart, funny, safe, and friendly. This trip is well worth taking.

Beautiful landscape. Great driver. Be prepared for a very bumpy ride. If you have a bad back or fear of height this may not be your best choice.

Great guide
It lasts 4 hours and bring bandana to cover mouth and nose from dust. Our guide Brianna was great. Beautiful scenery but rough road in spots.

Amazing Scenery and Experience
The scenery was amazing! We had not rafted before and our guide Levi made the experience safe, challenging, and exciting at all the right moments. And thanks Levi for sharing your love of the water! Our trip included Class 2 rapids which was perfect for a scaredy cat like me or for peeps wanting to get just a bit wet! Highly recommend Mild to Wild and Levi :)

Half Day Rafting Trip
So much fun! I had made an error with booking a rafting tour with another company (I booked for the wrong date) and they recommended I try Mild to Wild. Sure enough there were able to accommodate us on very short notice for their half day rafting tour. It was a chilly day so we rented the wetsuits (worth it). They take you on a bus to the drop off point and then your raft down the river. Although it was pretty mild and not wild the views were so worth it. Our guide Emily made sure to point out rock formations and wildlife. She was extremely patient and knowledgeable. We saw two bald eagles who have a nest on the route we took! Thank you for an amazing rafting trip.

Just Ok
It was just OK- it’s more of a family float than rapids. The pictures look like it’s more than it is. The guide was very nice and all the workers as well. We just would’ve liked a little more action. Not worth the money.

My husband and I took the 1/2 rafting in Moab and we had a great time. Our guide Ziggy was awesome and overconfident and professional. This was my first time rafting and a bit nervous but Ziggy made it smooth and fun. I will definitely will do it again. This was a very fun and great company, I will recommend to my family and friends.

River rafting at Mild to Wild while in Moab was such a a great addition to our vacation. Riley was our guide and she was so friendly, and shared with us so many interesting facts about the area, wildlife, river ecosystem. You can tell she really loves her job. It was so enjoyable❤️
