Had a great time with Seth on the Castle Valley float! Beautiful scenery and a few fun rapids to thrill the kiddos! Very enjoyable afternoon! The next day we ventured up to the Wind Caves with Sam as our fearless Jeep driver and stopped to view the petroglyphs along the way. The drive was breathtaking and the caves were so cool. We all had fun weaving our way through the cracks and crevices and took some beautiful photos! Loved it!

Rafting down the Lower Animus with Hunter was a blast 06/21/2025. It was our first ever time doing this as we had come to Durango for our 30th wedding anniversary. Thanks again Hunter for easing our minds and making a memorable experience. You were awesome!! Tried to make another post and it came back to this same post so adding to it. We enjoyed our trip so much on 06/21/2025 we came back with some friends on 06/24/2025. This time we had Nathaniel and he was awesome as well. We had such a blast taking some different runs with him. Truly appreciate all the staff at Mile to Wild. Highly recommend.

Will Roberts is the Lebron of Mild to Wild. Five stars is the least I can give to Will the goat. Will single handedly carried us through a treacherous voyage down the animas river. Had he not been there we all surely would have capsized and floated all the way down to New Mexico. I enjoyed my time at Mild to Wild and would highly recommend it.

The activity was amazing. Deidrick was our guide and he is very knowledgeable and pleasant. He made sure we had water and answered any of our questions. He took us to key places in the park as well as others which are not as popular but just as good.

We went on the Lower Animas 1/4 day standard rafting trip and it was exceptional!!! Absolutely the most fun thing we've done in a long time. The woman who checked us in made us feel comfortable and welcome, and our guide (Rob Johnson) was amazing. He was kind, easy to talk to, helpful, and wildly full of information about the river and the city. We felt extremely well taken care of and were able to enjoy the heck out of ourselves. We highly recommend this trip, and highly recommend Rob! Thank you!

Half Day Arches Tour
We went on a half day guided tour of the Arches National Park a couple of days ago. Darren was our guide and he did a great job of getting us to the most of the main Arches we wanted to see. He also shared about the geology and plant life. Did an excellent job of answering our many questions. Also we really appreciated never feeling rushed or having to move to the next place to keep on the time schedule. Going on this tour also got us into the park early. We would highly recommend Darren our guide and Mild & Wild tour company.

Super Fun Rafting Time
We did the half-day rafting tour with lunch down the Colorado River in Moab, and it was an absolute highlight of our Utah trip. This isn’t intense whitewater rafting, more of a calm float with a few fun splashes, perfect for families or anyone looking for a laid-back, scenic experience. Bring your kids — they’ll love it. Try to get your waiver signed online beforehand and arrive early. The car park gets busy, and we found the check-in a little stressful while rushing to complete paperwork. Giving yourself some extra time makes for a much more relaxed start. Our boat included just me, my partner, and a lovely family we met on the tour. The small group made it feel really personal and easy-going. Our guide, Smitty (I hope I’ve got that name right — she was brilliant at remembering everyone’s names, so I hope I’ve done the same), brought great energy to the day. She made everyone feel welcome, kept things fun and light, and was clearly experienced and comfortable leading the trip. The rapids themselves were very mild, and there were moments where we weren’t sure if we even needed to paddle. But that made it a perfect introduction to rafting. There were fun splashes, some side-to-side wobbles in the raft, and plenty of laughter. One of the best parts was floating freely in the river with our life jackets — just letting the current take us. At times the whole raft was empty because we were all drifting off in the water, smiling and enjoying the view. Just a heads-up: whatever you bring on the bus, you take on the raft. Only pack things you don’t mind getting wet. I lost my prescription sunglasses to the river, which was unfortunate, but the tour itself was so enjoyable that it didn’t spoil anything. Wear sandals that strap on (not flip-flops) and quick-drying clothes. You’ll definitely get soaked, but that’s part of the fun. The BBQ lunch comes halfway through and is served in a scenic wooden cabin. It included burgers, grilled chicken, salad, cookies — a full, satisfying meal in a beautiful setting. Everyone sat together chatting and laughing, and it gave the whole experience a lovely community feel. The guides were clearly having fun too, splashing other rafts and joking with the guests. The river sparkling in the sun, people floating and laughing — it was a magical afternoon. You also get to keep a reusable water bottle from the tour, which was a thoughtful and practical touch. This was a really memorable experience and one I’d absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Moab. A great mix of nature, adventure, and friendly people. The price was very reasonable for the level of service and overall experience, and I’d definitely try other tours from this company in the future.

Amazing off-road experience
Tour guide was Devon. She was awesome and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. We learned a lot on the tour about the different types of rock formations, the soil, and preservation of the natural landscape. She brought cold drinks, a really pleasant and friendly attitude and some solid driving skills! Particularly impressed that she encouraged a 'leave no trace' policy, offering to take any of our trash and even suggesting picking up any we saw on the way. Love that. We thoroughly enjoyed our bumpy off-road ride and spectacular views.

Most amazing experience!
Our trip was amazing! From rafting thru mild to wild on the Animas River to touring the Mess Verde National Park! Jayden was comical and made rafting even more fun! And Mesa Verde with Cat was the ultimate adventure! There is no way we could have experienced Mesa Verde at the depth and understanding as we did without our wonderful & acknowledgeable guide Cat! It was the full day tour with lunch provided! She took great care of us and all we had to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy ourselves!! Stress free!! She was amazing and we highly recommend the full day tour of Mesa Verde with Cat!!

Thanks to Jaz, our tour guide! It was a wonderful trip! I would do it again. You not only have a nice time on the water, thanks to your guide you also learn a lot abaut the secenery and wildlife.

Absolutely amazing experience. Justin our guide was a blast and felt completely safe with him directing the way. He was very knowledgeable, funny, and great to hang around. Will definitely be back for more rafting and we hope Justin is still there !
