Fabulous Versailles Trip

This was a brilliant guided tour - we really liked getting the train from the city and it was all very simple with our guide Berek - he made sure that we knew how to use the train system and could make our way back on our own which was also good as we could decide where we wanted to head back to afterwards - his services was ‘Tres Bien’ We met our Tour guide, Sylvie at the palace and she was very approachable, funny and informative. We were all engrossed in her descriptions and she was very helpful with photos. And taking us through busy areas. I would totally recommend this trip - better than just sitting on a coach. Excellent

Great tour by a friendly local guide from Paris.

We looked forward to seeing Notre Dame renovated now years after the fire. We were not disappointed. Our group included about 15 tourists, most from USA but a few from other countries. Our guide Antoni was well informed of all three sites we saw; and was extremely attentive to all in the group. This tour was on the first day of 20 days cruising rivers in France and Germany which included daily guided excursions. Antoni was one of the best guides we experienced throughout our trip.

Remi was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable and had good stories. He was very friendly and made the tour exciting. We loved being able to see the restricted areas as well.

A disappointment

Skip the line is great. Guide was very knowledgeable. However, she focused over 1/2 the tour on the building and precursors to the impressionists. It is really a tour of the D'Orsay, not the impressionist art there.

Bayo was our tour guide and he was an amazing tour guide. He entertained us with great facts and was enjoyable to listen to. He showed us a lot of pictures and kept us interested. He watched out for us and he knew exactly where to go. Also, he’s an amazing photographer and a great singer! I would recommend Bayo to everyone :)

Added value to our Orsay visit

Sylvanie was our tour guide. Her experience and consideration showed very early on this rainy Wednesday. After we checked in with her, she sought shelter from the rain for us and then got us through security and outfitted with headphones. The museum was very crowded but she kept us together and explained the art with an appreciation of details like brushstrokes, utilization of light and perspective. She tied together what was happening with we were seeing and French culture and history. Parents should be advised that many of the artworks display explicit nudity.

Outstanding tour - well well worth it!!

Outstanding tour!! Have never booked formal guided tour before - will definitely do so again and was so glad did so for the Louvre!! The place was packed to the rafters and yet, in a couple of hours we had seen all the ‘main’ exhibits and had a couple of hours of history and explanation from an amazingly knowledgeable, personable and friendly host - Sylvie!! Yes, a little expensive, but worth it or you would be wondering around the maze of paintings, sculptures and facts and would not see much!!!

Amazing tour….humid so...

Amazing tour….humid so floors are very wet from ceiling drippings. Ariel was a great guide with an in depth knowledge of Paris and Catacomb history.

Wonderful tour and guide

Fantastic tour with Tristan - he is SO genuinely enthusiastic about the art. He is sharing with the to participants. Terrific sense of humor as well. We got so much out of this tour - timing was just right - highly recommend!
