Very organized visit. I liked it alot. Lot's of info too. Worth the visit for sure. Not much to add here becaus you need to be there to understand how crazy the place can be. Not at all scary. Interesting.

Catacombs Go Dark

One of the best booking choices made while traveling so far. Highly recommend locking in a VIP tour so you can get away from the crowd, learn some extra insightful historical stories and have some space to let the heavy atmosphere that is the Catacombs hit you fully. If you are lucky enough to be on a tour guided by Remy, rest assured you're in good hands. His personability in presentation of the material, respect for the history and genuine care for the tour members/staff helps you shed any concerns about the experience there might be. For our tour there was a delay due to there being a blackout in the Catacombs, Remy kept things entertaining with stories about the sight all while checking in with staff for updates and keeping expectations level. Luckily they were able to correct the issue and we got our tour.

Excellent Organized Tour

Memories France provided excellent organization for this tour. The meetup was easy and the contact there rode on the train with us to Versailles to help the group navigate how to arrive and return from the palace. Our guide Bayo was knowledgeable and provided humorous anecdotes throughout the two hour tour. You start in the palace and end at the top of the gardens. After touring the gardens on your own you decide when you want to return to Paris on the train. Recommend using a tour as the palace is large and a guide will help navigate through the crowded rooms.

Franca was very knowledgeable on the topic of impressionist art. She took us to all the great works of art at the musee D’Orsay and allowed us free time to explore on our own. I learned a lot during this tour.

Besides the fact that this tour got you access to two private areas, our guide, “Mar,” was very knowledgeable and passionate about the catacombs. She brought the history to life and had a presence as if you’ve always known her.

Very long and very...

Very long and very detailed tour. The guide Yasmin sp? Was very dedicated and knowledgeable. However his French accent was so severe that neither my wife a French major nor myself could understand him. I tried to understand him using both using the audio system and without and I/we could not understand him at least 80% of the time. I’m sure it would have been good information as he was obviously trying hard to relay the information.

Very well organized despite the difficulties with a rail strike underway. Everyone’s English was very good. Guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. A very nice guided tour.

it was really amazing seeing the more closed off parts of the catacombs. the tour is really intimate (only 6 ppl at a time). Mar, out guide, was lovely and took really great care of us. She provided so many fun and interesting stories. This tour was well worth the price. a lovely experience!

We did the Emily in Paris tour with Stephanie and we had such a great time with her. Not only was she knowledgeable about the show, the locations where the show is shot, she and her husband were extras on camera in a couple of episodes! She is a huge fan of the show and many Parisians are not! Her knowledge about the French history of the locations is extensive and she was delightful to be with. I recommend her tour of Emily in Paris highly. If you are a fan of the show, you want Stephanie as your guide!

Excellent artwork by the Impressionists

Excellent tour of the highlights and history of the impressionists plus more. The building architecture is lovely, in a central location in Paris and our guide was amazing.

Great experience and great tour guide. Ivan provided great information and was a wealth of knowledge. My wife and I would highly recommend and we don’t usually like group tours.

Different than expected

Different than expected. We walked a lot of streets on the island then went to the Conciergerie and then onto Sainte Chapelle. The chapel was interesting. Guide provided information all along the way. Didn't do anything at Notre Dame other than have entrance line pointed out.

Anthony was amazing! A very nice guy who was super-knowledgeable. He made it a ton of fun for our group of 8 friends.

Enjoyed the personal touch

We especially enjoyed when the guide read letters from those imprisoned. The context and personal insights brought more of the history to life.
