Berek, our metro guide, was an American transplant to Paris who was funny and knowledgeable and gave us lots of recommendations while getting us safely to the palace. Julie, our guide, knew EVERYTHING. She had the inside scoop on the royals, the architecture, and got us through the palace lines in a jiffy. The tour was wonderful and we were so happy we booked it instead of trying to go through by ourselves. I couldn’t give this enough stars! The gardens are massive and it’s a lot of walking (as most of Paris is) so be prepared. It also gets very warm inside so bring water and dress accordingly.

Guide was good. She had a good sense of humor and was knowledgeable. Pronunciation of certain English words made it difficult to understand some things. It would have been nicer if there were fewer people in the group.
